Originally founded by Reg Olson in 1971, the company was first named Olson's Pest Control and Tree Topping. In 1989, the company was sold to Bill Devenney, who ran it until he retired in 2005. Dave Young, who had originally joined the company in 1988, became the third owner in 2005, and has been at the helm of Olson's Pest Control Ltd since that time.
Olson's is a family run business, with Dave's wife Sandra being the very capable office manager. In keeping with today's "green" approach to spraying, Olson's uses only environmentally friendly products. We help you get rid of unwanted pests, both inside and outside of your home or premises. Our Structural Service deals with ants, spiders, wasps, bedbugs, fleas and mice control, among others. Our Fruit Tree, Yard Trees and Shrubs seasonal spraying program gives you the best coverage for all season control.
The following is a sampling of the thousands of bug species that are around- some are "good" but most are "bad". Good bugs, referred to as "beneficial" often help you keep the "bad bugs" in check. Ladybugs (also known as ladybird beetles) fall in the "beneficial" category of insect and are probably the best known and most valued of the beetle family.
