Owners David and Kristin Courtney's passion for helping others came about after witnessing how the life of their friend was transformed by the many medical devices he needed following a horrific motor vehicle accident.
In 1998 they opened their first home healthcare store in Oakville and they have provided sales, service, and rentals of products such as wheelchairs, mobility scooters, walkers, stairlifts, CPAP, bathroom and bedroom safety and more in the Halton, Peel and Toronto Regions ever since.Along with their family and staff, they spend countless hours supporting charitable organizations and initiatives in the community.

We service a wide range of home healthcare equipment in our well stocked in-house service department and will go where needed to perform at repair including your home, work, school, via face time, and more. We offer equipment rentals such as wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, etc. at competitive if you or someone you know may need something for a short period of time.

It was impossible to get a return call from Vince despite texting, email, and voicemail. Finally, a few days later he called back to say that he is going to deliver my wheelchair Thrusday afternoon. It is now 6:20 PM on Thursday and still no sign of him or even letting me know what is going on despite text and calls and even a follow up from Joyce, who was very nice about it. Disabled people deserve better treatment from Access Abilities.

Debbie was extremely helpful and she arranged for everything to be delivered quickly. Staff is very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. This store sells and rents a wide variety of medical devices - including reclining couches - so whatever you need, Iām certain they will have it (or can get it for you).
NOTE: They do have very strict Covid-19 policies in place, which is good since they are committed to selling/renting virus clean products. So if you need something, call them in advance and place your order for a quick pickup at the front door š
