Wolverine Freight System was founded in 1984 by brothers Chris and Mike John, who saw an opportunity to provide high-quality freight services to customers in Windsor, Ontario. They started with just a few trucks and provided cartage and cross-border truckload services between Windsor and Detroit. Wolverine's reputation as a quality carrier continued to grow as the years went by.
