Dr. Adam has been practicing dentistry in Yellowknife since 1980. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Adam practiced in England for two years before making the move to Canada with his wife Charlene. A year-long adventure proved to be a lifelong passion, and they put down permanent roots in Yellowknife, raising four children.
Yellowknife is a city of striking contrasts: a thriving modern city, perched on the edge of Canada's beautiful pristine wilderness; a Territorial capital and regional centre bursting with energy, yet laid back, relaxed and family-friendly; a land steeped in history, culture and tradition that embraces newcomers from around the world.

Lived in Yellowknife for a year now and just had my first couple appointments with Adam Dental (consultation and cleaning). I want to specifically say that the customer service skills of the whole staff is on point. Zoë my dental hygenist today specifically was professional, made sure I understood what she was doing and carried the conversation well.

At 65 I have seen my share of dental practices and have needed lots of cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals and other treatments. This was my first visit to Adam Dental as we recently moved to YK and I could not be happier to have chosen them to provide care and services. Likely the gentlest filling ever, I was most impressed!

Adam Dental has been my own dental clinic since I was a child. Now I bring my own family here. The staff are always friendly, the Dentists are caring and professional. The Hygienist makes the visit fun and informative. With a child who has special needs, Adam Dental is able to accommodate him so that his visit is always a pleasant experience. Dr. Jzadiyar and her hygenist were absolutely amazing. Due to the missing of my previous dentist, I had quite a few cavities that needed filling. They were able to squeeze me in even though I was from out of town, and made me feel comfortable and updated throughout the entire process. From start to finish I would recommend her again and again! Top drawer. I was in severe pain, had no appointment, in a remote camp. They took me in emeditly x-rays, decide on treatment and did the work in about an hour. Very professional very informative, confident, reassuring. This was the best dentist experience I have had. Hats off. And thanks to everyone there.
