Suffering from pericoronitis, swollen lymph nodes, pain while i turned my head, difficulties swallowing and severe pain in my jaw - i called the emergency line and was told to drop by during walk in. I got service pretty quickly staff was friendly, however the hygienist was gaslighting my experience. I did not get to see the dentist as he was out of the office. The hygenist told me to rinse my mouth with salt water, i said i had been doing that already and it hasnt helped. He gave me a toothpaste and said i had nice teeth and told me to be on my way. I was furious and almost cried.

Without a doubt, the cutest, loveliest and most professional staff I have dealt with. My partner and I had a cleaning done and I also got fitted for a night guard. I could not have asked for a better experience. The staff is warm, and welcoming and they deserve a ton of success. Can not recommend this place enough. GO GO GO. I have been a patient at Dr. Kobaisy's clinics for over 30 years and returned yesterday for a check up and cleaning. The service and care at Somba Ke Dental clinic remains absolutely great. Everything was comfortable, there was no waiting and the exam and cleaning was very comprehensive.

Had not seen a dentist in many years. Felt welcome and assured I would be looked after from the moment I sat in the chair. Dr. Kobaisy gave me my smile back and the confidence to show it. After my horrible visit to a dentist in Winnipeg, i've been avoiding dentists for years. but coffees and teas eventually left a mark that even my electric toothbrush couldn't remove so i decided to go for a cleaning. i am really glad i chose the Somba Ké Dental Clinic! the cleaning was done by the dentist, who was very thorough. the years worth of stains disappeared and no nonexistent cavities were diagnosed, unlike the dentist in Winnipeg who told me i had several (i am really glad i didn't believe him).

My family and I have been patients at Somba Ke Dental for over 15 years. The staff has always been professional and accommodating. I have had to have extensive dental work over the years and this office has never failed me; where else in YK can you get a crown or a bridge in 24 hours??? I will always be grateful for the care given to my son last… Sunday afternoon, when the clinic was closed, Dr. Kobaisy did not hesitate to see my son and take care of his tooth pain, after hours and on his day off. This office and staff are the best! Love it here!

Got 2 teeth fixed last week. After two days of having them fixed I have been in a significant amount of pain not even close to what I was feeling when I went in. Now I have to fly back again, when I was hoping if anything, it could at least wait until the next time I come down. I’m thankful for dental services but would have liked them properly fixed since I’m from a small isolated community and sometimes airfare is not affordable.

I love Somba Ke, I was one of the many people that were so scared to go to the dentist. I moved here 11 years ago and I was very scared to change the dentist because I have a very severe problem with my gums. I have been to other cliniques that put me to shame because of lifestyle and bad habits, which in my case was caused by living in a remote… community with little money for causes such as dental. I asked people when I arrived and the told me Somba Ke. I walked into the most wonderful group of humans I ever met, they immediately put me at ease, they were so kind and caring from the front

After visiting my orthodontist, he told me the retainer that was made for me would do nothing. It ended up in the garbage. I remember specifically asking the man at this clinic in Yellowknife if the retainer he was giving me would shift my teeth. He said yes. I'm so upset that I blew $150 on nothing.
