Once upon a time, in 2006, a husband-and-wife team Dr. Aaron Todd and Dr. Amanda Tulk established West Valley Chiropractic in Cochrane. From the moment they stepped foot in Cochrane, they knew it would be an ideal place to raise their family and start their business. With the town's proximity to the city and the mountains, the best of both worlds could be enjoyed.
To be able to compete at such an elite level in Canada and the United States, Dr. Todd needed to be injury-free. I received my first adjustment after a neck injury during a football game. The hit was so severe that I worried about finishing up the rest of the season. However, after a few adjustments from our team chiropractor, I was cleared up and ready to play the following weekend.

Dr. Tulk had always wanted to work in the health field, but wasn't sure which avenue she would pursue. She was first introduced to chiropractic as a teenager when her best friend was in a bad car accident. The car was a write-off, and her friend was badly injured. She would hardly walk on her own, let alone drive a car.
Amanda began her studies of Holistic Medicine in 2007 at Wild Rose College where she became certified in Reiki and Reflexology. It was shortly after that, during a trip to South East Asia, that she fell in love with Acupuncture. And from there, decided to pursue a career in Chinese Medicine. Amanda graduated from the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Calgary, Alberta in 2012.

Since moving out to Alberta from Ontario about 10 years ago or so now, I have struggled with migraines and really bad headaches over the years. I had never gone to a chiropractor until I met Dr. Todd and Dr. Tulk. To my surprise regular chiropractic adjustments and icing the back of the neck/skull help immensely!! I’ve noticed such a difference and I am so grateful. If you struggle with headaches/migraines I highly recommend West Valley Chiropractic!! 😊

I have suffered from chronic migraines my whole life. Getting them whenever the weather changed (which is quite frequent;)). I started seeing Dr. Todd, and within a few weeks I started to notice a difference. I haven’t had a migraine in months! They adjust without the use of physical adjustments, which is an added perk! I would HIGHLY recommend West Valley Chiropractic to absolutely anyone, and everyone!

I had to find a chiropractor quickly and landed in West Valley Chiropractic Centre and saw Dr. Todd right away.
He did a thorough assessment on me and started treatment that day.
It's been about a month now and my lower back pain is completely gone!

After we moved into our new home, I luxuriated in a massage at the Clinic, where I received more relief.

Woke up with a sore neck. Decided on chiro over massage and I'm so glad I did! Turns out a vertebra had slipped out of place. Fast forward 2 weeks and Dr. Todd has my neck feeling almost 100% better.
The staff at the clinic are so lovely and welcoming. I never have to wait past my appointment time. Highly recommended.

This place is so wonderful. The staff are all super friendly and helpful and both Dr. Tulk and Dr. Todd are some of the the kindest and most genuine people I have ever met. I have experienced many Chiropractors in my day and would say without a doubt Dr. Todd is one of the best. Since my treatments with Dr. Todd my back is feeling better than it has in years. Highly recommend.

I have been working from home and sit in strange positions and I think this caused severe headaches up my neck and back of my head. Dr. Todd was very friendly and provided me plenty of information and the overall plan. The sessions were quick and the staff are all very nice. I also went to Sara for a message which was amazing. My headaches disappeared and I didn't feel pressured to keep coming in (although probably recommended) - if my headaches come back I'll be sure to visit Dr. Todd again.

This family run clinic has been my go to spot for 7 plus years. I have always been able to get an appointment whenever I have called! Their Staff are always friendly & extremely helpful. In my family I was the only one using West Valley Chiropractic until a few years ago & now my whole family goes.
I am in the Construction business & have had issues at different times in my life with my back being so bad I couldn't stand or walk. This happened recently, I was able to contact Dr Todd & he even came in after hours to give me a treatment! People that care about their clients well being in the medical

I first met Aaron and Amanda at the hockey rink of course. I was looking for a different approach to help improve the mobility in my spine and hopefully lessen the pain in my low back and hip. The staff at the clinic are truly incredible and treat their clients like close friends. Always positive, helpful and caring. I highly recommend West Valley Chiropractic! When I had my initial visit with Dr. Todd, I had never had anything so thorough! He addressed all of my problems, even did a scan to show me my stress points-Everything was explained to me in great detail which I can really appreciate. The staff were amazing, Danni was very accommodating with my work schedule to squeeze me in and Lama is a great assistant!
