Over the past 50 years, Binnie has grown from a small operation of two to a 300+ person company.
From manual surveying and typewriters, to smartphones and 3D scanning-Binnie has seen a lot of change. What has stayed true throughout our history is our focus on people. From multi-purpose sports fields to playgrounds, parks and bike paths, we plan, design and build dynamic open spaces that foster human connection, improve livability, and create a sense of community.

Services
From manual surveying and typewriters, to smartphones and 3D scanning-Binnie has seen a lot of changes over the last 50 years. We started as a humble husband-and-wife team in 1969. By the '80s, we grew to 20 employees, and today we are a dynamic team more than 300-strong. What has stayed true throughout our fifty-year history is our focus on our people.
Get to know the people behind your infrastructure-from civil engineers and technologists, to landscape architects and project managers. Wilfred Wong, EIT is an Electrical Design engineer who is primarily responsible for consulting with. Meet Greg Jones, GIT, GradTech, one of our Assistant Project Managers in our Southern Interior.
Since 1969, we've worked closely with land developers, municipalities, and public and private sector organizations to engineer sustainable infrastructure solutions that connect and build communities. We've spent 50 years earning a reputation for delivering quality civil engineering, surveying, and project management services to public and private sector clients.
We work with municipal and provincial governments, developers, ports, transit, and hydro. Whether we're working on a road, a park, or a hospital, we see beyond the engineering to the communities that will use them-now and well into the future. We are committed to sustainable business practices with a social and ecological focus.
