Your eyes never stop changing. Growing up and aging change the structure, size, and even shape of your eyes. As a result, your eyes need regular check-ups to keep tabs on what kind of changes your eyes are going through and what kind of correction (if any) they need. We recommend you have your eyes examined once every two years between the age of 20 and 65.
Vision is a big part of the developmental process. Kids need their eyesight to learn; and not just in school. In fact, 80% of what kids learn is visual. Obviously, good eyesight and eye health are a huge part of growing up. But when your kids are too young to tell you what they see, how do you know they need help?
Your eyes never really stop changing. That's why regular eye exams are so important. This is even more true with seniors; age increases risk for certain conditions and diseases, making the eye exam more crucial than ever. Once age 60 is reached, an eye exam is recommended no less than once a year. If you are 60 or older, call and make an appointment today.
Contact lenses are an excellent corrective option, offering convenience, versatility, and most importantly, freedom. You may think that contact lenses aren't for you, but the truth is with the new technology in design and materials there is almost a contact lens for everyone. That's where we come in.
The inside of your eye is lined by a complex system of tissues called the retina. In the middle of the retina is a small cluster of light-sensitive cells which are responsible for your central vision. This area is called the macula. Because early AMD usually doesn't show any visual symptoms, it's crucial that you see us for routine eye exams.

The staff at In focus were all exceptional. I was very impressed with my thorough eye exam and thanks to Endy, I learned important concerns to monitor moving forward for my eye health. Nobody else has ever mentioned this critical information to me before. After my exam, I was grateful to have expert assistance in choosing the ideal frames. Endy took the time to choose frames for me to try that would best fit my face as well as optimizing my field of view for my prescription. He recommended transitional glasses for me instead of bifocals and the difference is unbelievable. I never take my glasses

I am thankful to Dr. Gerry Day, Dr. Mcdonald , and the wonderful staff at in focus eyecare. I was a patient and was experiencing blurry vision for the past 2 years. On the first visited, my problem was identified and needed several more visits to monitor treatment. All the staff was also patient and very kind. Endy, was especially welcoming, professional, and very enlightening. I don't know where I would be without the great work and care given time me. Thank you very much!

The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because they are polite and friendly, and they submit direct to insurance. Otherwise unless you have at least $500 per person in coverage don’t go here. It cost us over $900 out of pocket for 3 pairs of glasses. To top it off my husband had to go back to have his prescription adjusted - at which point they told him we were now “eligible” for a buy one get one 50% sale. Sorry but where was this deal when we bought 3 pairs a few weeks ago!!!! Every other eye glasses place we have gone to (we lived in Richmond Hill before moving here this year) has

Had my first visit today and Marie at the Grand Bend was so helpful in choosing the right glasses for me. She was honest and thorough in making sure I was getting exactly what I needed. The selection is large as well which was really nice to have.

My baby needed glasses and I was so scared (not having to wear them myself), Dr. MacDonald and the staff made it so easy and exciting for her. They are diligent and caring. They are innovative (constantly learning and improving around industry advancements and best practices). Their facilities are clean and well maintained. Everything about In Focus is top shelf!

This is our third year here and I’ve enjoyed it.
Staff are polite and friendly with myself and my children.
Easy to make an appointment with and barely a wait time once you’re there... if there is a wait time.
They also e-mail you to remind you of your appointment.
Staff and Dr. Day are so good with children! (Aged 7 and under)
Very playful and a great amount of patience.
They work hard to be acomdating and to make sure you’re happy with any purchases or experience. They don’t ever push me to buy anything more than what i’m asking for.
