With 3 optometrists on site we offer eye exams Monday through Friday as early as 8:00 am or until 6:00 pm. Call or email us for an appointment. We examen children as of 5 years of age. Both opticians and optometrists are trained to fit you with the latest technology in contact lenses, single vision or multi focal.
Established in the 1980s by a "neo-hippie" optician named Valentin and a woman named Anne who went on to became Valentin's business partner, wife and "soulmate, " the company's aim is to design glasses that reflect their customer's lives. Anne began sketching her own frames after having observed that she wasn't able to find any that suited her.

I bought a pair of lenses and contact lenses 3 years ago. I brought my son to take an eye exam here as well. I would say that the service here is fairly good, but the quality of lenses I bought here is not quite nice to me. I ordered Zeiss but I doubted if they were really Zeiss lenses when I got the pairs and they convinced me that they were exactly what I ordered. But after only less than one year, the lenses were scratched and totally dead. I didn't wear this pair too much and took good care of the lenses very well, thus it is the quality problem.

In this place, they do not know how to cut lenses nicely. They reordered and cut my lenses three times, but they couldn't get it right! For some, these are trifles. But when you pay $1,500 for new glasses, you want to have beautiful glasses and not a cheap one for $15. After three attempts I took the glasses (it would have been better to refund the money and do it elsewhere). One photo shows my other glasses same frame style with exactly the same lenses cut nicely and correctly. On the other image - Alain Assedo's cut with a sticking out ugly plastic edge. Very poor job for an optician serving

I have been dealing with Alain for the past 15 years. There is absolutely no one like him or his team! I wear glasses since I am 2 years old. His service, selection, patience and honesty is so appreciated. The second you walk into his store you feel welcome and you know you will be well taken care of. He is so accommodating and understanding. He is also so stylish and knows exactly how to pin point the details and unique features of each frame! Thank you Alain for everything!

The most amazing store in the world. The staff are great. The frame selection is unique,original and always updated to the optical fashion. I would say this store is the most high end optical store in Montreal. They are always PACKED. The service is impeccable. They make sure to take care of you from beggining to end. They won’t let you leave unsatisfied. Over all, a great experience. Everyone compliments me on my frames. Alain knows exactly what fits your face. I HIGHLY recommend going here!!!!

The absolute best and most exceptional customer service experience I’ve ever had at an optometry clinic or shop. I ran out of contacts was in town for a few days and called dozens of stores before finally finding this gem. They even offered to order my exact prescription and have it here before I leave. I am from out of town and needed some contact lenses as one of mine had town. Celine was incredibly helpful, got my prescription and found a match. She gave me a sample pair free of charge and some travel solution for while I am here. She made what could have been a huge problem into a simple fix. I am very greatfull and would highly recommend this business

I've been a client of Mr. Assedo for more then 10 years now. I always appreciated their work with their customers. Yes it might seem expensive, but Mr. Assedo and his team are worth the extra buck. He saved me many times with spare contact boxes right before a trip when I would forget to order my contact lenses on time (or they would be late). He is always straight up with you about what he can offer you as a service, yes I can do this or no I cannot do this. I recently tried to go to another optician's office and I was sorely disappointed, the other optician give me the wrong prescription, they

High standards of care and ambiance. There is a warmth to this neighbourhood eyewear facility that is lacking in larger franchise stores.
I'd often thought that the prices here were a deterrent to our custom. Some might concur, however after a recent purchase of glasses for my eldest, I am sold sold sold. Olivier was terrific and very easy to work with. Every single detail was discussed flawlessly. Celine and Alain have really mastered their trade and gave first class service. It's goodbye to the big box stores for me.
