Do not use this company! They took my money and told me my car would be delivered in 2 weeks. It took them 10 weeks.
After 2 weeks I called and left messages and emails but they were never returned. I heard nothing from them until my car was delivered.
When my car finally showed up my car had no brakes.

Ship my ride has been the most awful experience with any business I’ve ever had (shipping or otherwise). I hired them to ship a car from Winnipeg to Ottawa. I could provide a long winded account of my experience but I’ll try and streamline it.
- Ship my ride was very responsive and accommodating in providing a
quote and had a lot of communication coordinating pick up dates
and such (before I paid them).
- I paid the entire amount as per the quote on Sept 20th. My vehicle
was picked up on the date it was supposed to be picked up

"Zero star rating"...(Read the most recent reviews!)...This Company should not be in Business! I believed Nancy when I was calling around for quotes early in 2021, she convinced me that ShipMyRide was experienced in transporting Vehicles across Canada. I did receive many Text Messages/E-Mails from Nancy up to and including the day my Credit Card Information and Vehicle was handed over. It took just short of 4 Months to transport my Vehicle from Calgary, Alberta to St. John's, Newfoundland (110 days to be precise). The "updates" from Tyron in Shipping became non-existent! Never again!!!!!! Took them 2 1/2 months to ship two Land Rovers from Ottawa to Victoria. Vehicles sat in Vancouver for 6 weeks because Ship My Ride wouldn't pay sub-contractors and when I tried to escalate nobody at Ship My Ride would return my calls or emails. I even called the manager and left messages but she wouldn't even pick up the phone and let me know what was going on. I've now come to understand that Ship My Ride has a very poor reputation in the industry and are known for not taking responsibility or compensating you in any way when things go wrong.

Reviews are all correct. This is the most disrespectful experience I could imagine. Zero. I mean zero respect for their clients. Won't return my calls and emails. Won't even answer the phone, I think they are screening my number. My vehicle shipped on June 30th.. It's August 9th and noone can tell me where my vehicle is. I'm reporting it stolen tomorrow. Also reporting them to Motor dealers association so that all dealers know how they treat their customers. Nothing else I can do at this point. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

All the negative reviews are true ! We had to go and fetch our car from the depot in Bolton after waiting 3 weeks for it to arrive. We were told it was loaded on a trailer waiting to be transported to us in 6 more days but it had been at the depot for at least 2 weeks already. No one explained WHY. Customer service is non-existent and when that happens you get to a point where you lose any remaining trust. My assets will never be moved by this awful outfit again.

So far I've been very very unhappy with the customer service that I have received, supposed to be getting a car transferred from Vancouver to Regina and the expected date was the 19th of June, car was delayed okay whatever, told me the car would be delivered either that Monday/Tuesday. Still not here, waited till Saturday the next week and it's still not here, my car is now over a week delayed, I contacted the company and I won't even get a response on where my car is! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Very impressed with the service. On a recommendation from a friend I contacted ShipMyRide to have a vehicle shipped from Toronto to Tssutina-Calgary late January 2021. I was kept in formed of the shipment progress of my Ride during the whole process, from expected pick up time, to pick up and then to final destination delivery. Very happy with their service and would not hesitate using their service again or recommending it to anyone. Very reasonable cost and competitive.

DO NOT EVER USE SHIP MY RIDE. I've had a terrible experience with this company. Our car was damaged moving from BC to SK and we put in a claim one month ago. Nancy was the boss of the claims department and I was told to wait 1 or 2 days and she will contact me regarding the claim. She never answered my call for almost a month and wouldn't call me back when she said she would call me back every time I tried messaging her. After calling her today about the damage, she said she couldn't cover it because apparently there was already a damage on our car before. That made 0 sense because it was perfectly

Got my car shipped from Calgary to Vancouver with Ship My Ride. Friday drop off in Calgary and picked up my car in Vancouver on the following Thursday. The pick up date was a bit later than what they told me, but understandable given the recent snowfalls.
The only part I’m unsatisfied with was the communication. It seems like the company will only update me after I ask for updates, and did not proactively communicate with me unless I initiated. They were fast to respond but only when I called/emailed first.

I recently used this service to ship my car from Vancouver to Ottawa. It was my first time doing something like this, so I researched and received quotes from similar companies who also did car shipment. Most were by train, and their quotes were about $300-500 less, but the thing about transportation by train is they won't allow you to store anything in the car during shipment, other than car seats and tires. Since I had other belongings to transport, this would save me money and time overall (as well as convenience).

Terrible company to deal with. I agree with the other posts that you feel like you are being lied to. I had a car shipped for work and it had multiple delays with changing stories as to why it was not going to arrive on the arranged date. I had to get another car because I was starting a new job...SO STRESSFUL. Also they would not answer my email or phone calls to explain exactly what had happened. My broker tried to get some answers and had the same run around. Very unprofessional. See their BBB rating and you will understand why you should avoid this company. Very bad experience!!!!

If I could rate this company a negative I would. They are completely unprofessional and unaccountable. If we treated our customers this way, I would guarantee that we wouldn't be in business. We had a Volvo SUV shipped by Jim Pattison Volvo of North Vancouver (also getting a thumbs down for not helping us with this when they booked the shipping - how's that for the service ending after the sale?!?!) from Vancouver to Saskatoon in October 2013. Awful! They lie to you for one. They don't deliver when they say they will and make excuses for everything. They don't take ownership and act like it's not their fault and don't compensate you in any way. If your car is late they blame the weather even if the weather is good. They're supposed to be professional but they aren't. I urge you not to use them to ship your vehicle, it's a complete gong show.
