GOALIES, limited to 4 per division, are FREE! Goalies need to register, attend 90% of their games and they will be refunded their registration at the end of the season (so it's FREE!) If your daughter is successful in joining a Rep Team her fees will be transferred to that team. Once your registration with North York Storm Girls Hockey League is complete, cancellation charges (below) will apply.
To allow for faster Criminal History checks, (24 hours from time of submission) the NYS has partnered with BackCheck, Canada's leading provider of background checks. This is a service that all NYS volunteers can use to ensure that they are able to be on the bench / in the room with the players. There is a nominal charge of approximately $45 which is the responsibility of the volunteer.

The Respect in Sport Parent Program, Canada's only online training and certification program, compliments Respect in Sport for Coaches/Activity Leaders.
The new HTCP Level 1 and Level 1 Refresher e-learning courses provide a simple and convenient method of certification and are designed to be accessible from any personal computer. It is presented as an online curriculum and includes interactive multi-media tutorials, quizzes and printable downloads.
