Instead, candidates will have to demonstrate that they have worked at least one year in a skilled occupation within the past 10 years. Jobs in Canada are classified by what are called National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes, which are divided by skill level and skill type. Similarly, the current list of ineligible occupations under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) will not be in place under Express Entry.

People who want to live in Canada as permanent residents must normally apply for and obtain a permanent resident visa before they come here. A permanent resident is someone who can live in Canada permanently, but who is not a Canadian citizen. However, if you are already in Canada and you face exceptional circumstances, you may qualify for an exemption from the requirement to obtain a permanent resident visa from a visa office abroad.

I've worked with Richard and his team through out the years, my journey started with my own PR process back in 2015, and im now living in Canada and have been living here for many years. My most recent work was with Caroline in regards to my wife's sponsorship, and it has been a pleasure. She answered all my questions, helped throughout every step of the process and now my wife is with me in Canada.

Fantastic service all around. Tiffany Lussier made this stressful process 100% bearable due to her timely responses, availability, and professionalism.
My wife and I knew that the process was under control from the very beginning and even during the pandemic, there were zero hiccups and we experienced a smooth process.
I would definitely recommend Canadian Immigration Council to anyone looking to settle in Quebec.
