Melillo Architects incorporated is committed to excellence in client service and design. We offer a full range of architectural services including master planning, interior design, building design, project management and administration. Our Portfolio includes schools, libraries, office buildings, commercial, retail, showrooms, industrial and residential design.

Building renovations and the upgrade of historic and older building stock has also comprised much of our work. Many of our projects have involved site planning and landscaping, as well as the design of lighting, furniture, and fitments. We believe in a fluent balance between design and the various technical aspects of building.
Services
It was rescued from a derelict state and converted into the corporate headquarters for one of Canada's most prominent law firms. Restoration of this historically protected building included an addition to the building, which houses two new elevators and stand-alone office spaces. The City of Hamilton awarded the Urban Design and Architecture Award for Excellence for this project in 2005.
390 Bay is a 33 storey office building in Toronto's financial district originally constructed in 1972. It currently houses offices and commercial space for Munich Re. Renovations were undertaken to provide upgrades and bring the building to a Class A level.

These refurbishments included extensive renovations to the main ground floor lobby and concourse levels and involved the creation of a new building entrance aesthetic, modifications to the exterior, and interior alterations.Melillo Architects not only designed the lobby and concourse structures but also the various fitments and fixtures, including custom lighting fixtures, the lobby desk, and signage.
This project for a new control centre for Toronto Hydro involved the construction of an addition to the existing call centre. The project amalgamated existing control facilities relocated from the previous cities of Metropolitan Toronto and accommodated state-of-the-art control and communication systems within a 10 000 sq. ft.
A two storey addition to an existing masonry and concrete building for Bell Canada, most of which is circa 1960's-70's. The addition is a technically demanding 2nd storey extension over an existing ground floor and basement. The construction work will proceed to protect the equipment and facilities operation as the upgrades are performed.
This new home is located in Guelph Ontario. The clients are a young professional couple with a new baby. They presently live in and own a modest home on this site. The existing home is very small and becoming quite uncomfortable for this growing family however, they do like the location and the site backs on to parkland.
