We are located 3 km east of Wheatley. Less than one hour from Windsor/Detroit/Chatham. Just minutes from attractions such as: Point Pelee National Park, Wineries, Colasanti's Tropical Gardens, Jack Miner's Bird Sanctuary. I just wanted you to know what a great trip we had on this past Civic Holiday weekend.
We just purchased a new trailer this year and this was our first "trailer park" experience. What a great time we had! sandcastle building contests, family dances, bingo and breakfast! I could not believe how generous the prizes were and how clean your facilities were. Your staff were so friendly and accomodating.

Services
Visitors from across Canada and the United States have come to visit our family campground for over fifty three years. A campground that started out as a vision of three young couples who loved nature, camping and the beautiful views of Lake Erie. The story begins in the late 1950's when Larry and Dee Burr, Leo and Jan Hornett and Tony and Mary Gerrish had a dream of turning this rugged piece of waterfront property into a family campground.
Campers Cove offers overnight and seasonal camping. We have 324 shaded sites and offer 1,200-foot beach on Lake Erie in Southwestern, Ontario. Camp Store with Groceries, Camping and RV Supplies, Ice, Firewood, Ice Cream, Magazines, Newspapers and Sundries. In order to protect our park we request that Overnight Campers bring NO FIREWOOD into the park - construction lumber only.
All non holiday reservations will be charged a one night cancellation fee if cancelled 14 days or less prior to arrival. All Holiday, Cabin, Premium Warterfront Pull Thru and Extended stays*, will be charged in full if cancelled 14 days or less prior to arrival. If a customer leaves during their stay, no refund, management reserves the right to issue a rain check.
Management available in store/office. Wireless Internet available for purchase. After hours management in cabin area next to the store. In case of emergency phone 911. See instructions below. WASHROOMS: Please treat them as you would your own. They are cleaned on a regular schedule but, if at any time, they are not sparkling clean, please advise management.
At Campers Cove Campground we are committed to making your stay a most enjoyable experience through a complete recreation program. Listed are just a few of the activities that will take place throughout the summer. We spend the off-season planning events and activities for all ages. After all, Campers just want to have fun!

On the plus side I found my first ever 4 leaf clover here, so there's that! Budget van lifers keep rolling, CC is a well oiled machine. Everything is spicnspan even the fire pits are swept between guests, bummer if you use left over logs for your fire. The prices for everything here at CC are great if it was a hotel. Wifi access costs $6 for the privilege of surfing your email but no streaming.. bad dog! . A quick back of the envelope calculation has this park pulling down some serious cash annually and it shows, every square meter is spoken for and used for profit. If you want one of the lake

We drove 6hrs to reach this park. Couldn't be happier we did. Met a couple from Port Dover and was asked why we ventured so far. Told them it was about seeing variety Ontario has to offer. This is a well kept, well run park. Staff are efficient at cleaning sites. Beware of the Black Walnuts though, you'll need to clean your rig. Beautiful park and area.

I love Camper's Cove! It has plenty of trees and feels super cozy. The vibe is friendly and it is a big park so you can go for a walk or ride your bike. The beach is beautiful and a great option. The sites are… a good size, overall the park is clean and looks well kept. We really enjoyed our stay there when the kids were young. There are plenty of fun activities and events planned , even now. I think out of all the camps we visited, the kids enjoyed Camper's Cove the most. Now we have friends there who love it and can't say enough positive things about their experiences with being Seasonal

Terrible campground run by terrible people, you're packed in with other campers like sardines, no space between the sites.
We booked two cabins for three days, and then weeks later when we drove over an hour just to pay for them, we were told the cabins had accidentally been double-booked and that we had to take campsites.
We were alright with this, as long as the campsites could be next to each other, and they told us that would be the case. We arrived to find our campsites were not next to each other, but diagonally apart.
At every turn we have been treated badly, like our problems are an

I visited family who have a seasonal trailer site here on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. It was my first experience at this campground. I was very impressed with the ambience of the park and the amenities they have.
The showers are amazing!
The beach was awesome.
The other campers were very friendly and relaxed.
We wandered over to the overnight camping area and the sites are very roomy.
I was greeted in a warm friendly way that makes a person want to come back.
I understand now the difference between family owned and corporate owned.
I also understand why there are waiting lists to come

We are currently here enjoying our short stay. I have never seen a campground so clean. There are so many staff members cleaning on a rotating basis. The bathrooms are immaculate and are constantly well taken care of. This week has been brutal for torrential rain and thunder storms and the workers have been constantly grading the roads and are very pleasant. We hope to be back soon

Fun, friendly staff and lots of activities. Went here with a friend who owns a seasonal lot we were able to chill out by lake Erie, take hikes through the nearby forest. The bathroom facilities were Sub-par but not terrible. Lots were all of decent size. They also had a couple events the few times I went like live music, a halloween trail.
