Physiotherapists are experts in movement and mobility, body mechanics and the musculoskeletal system. Physiotherapy is a movement-based treatment intervention that helps individuals restore, maintain and maximize their physical function, strength and mobility all while decreasing pain due to injury, illness or disability.
Manual Therapy is a specialized technique performed by physiotherapists in which they use their hands as opposed to a device or machine to mobilize the soft tissues and joints to help restore optimal function and mobility. This technique helps to decrease pain, reduce muscle spasm, muscle tension, and joint dysfunction while facilitating proper movement patterns.
Often called traction, it is a mechanical device used to treat conditions of the spine including disc herniations and compressions, nerve root compression and osteoarthritic discogenic conditions. Research has shown that applying a traction force to the spine reduces pressure on intervertebral discs, relaxes tense muscles, relieves compression and irritation of the nerve roots and improves circulation.
Overusing the pelvic muscles (like going to the bathroom too often or pushing too hard), eventually leading to poor muscle coordination. Bowel and bladder concerns can be embarrassing and very confusing and they may go untreated for a very long time. There are often numerous medical appointments and investigative tests as parents and children navigate through these waters.

I just loved this place! You walk in and it’s clean and smells great, the staff are responsive and energetic. They’re nice and helpful. My massage therapist Carly is brilliant, she listens to what you are saying and she’ asks you lots of questions. Questions that you wouldn’t think of to ask and they make sense to ask. Good conversationalist but also is quiet when it’s appropriate. Going back tomorrow for my second massage and can’t wait. I’ve made this my new home away from home. Highly recommend REVOLUTION PHYSIOTHERAPY

I found Meghan to very attentive, she took time to listen to my concerns, explained the exercises that will help with my carpal tunnel and gave me recommendations for hand exercises at home. I recommend Revolution, especially if you have carpal tunnel! . The front staff were also very friendly and welcoming which made a great first impression of the clinic.

Meghan is amazing!! She is knowledgeable & informative. Even better, she is personable & so fun to talk to!! While physio can be quite a close & personal experience she makes you feel comfortable the entire time. Each visit I've felt valued and cared about. Shout out to reception as well. Coming from a similar job role I really appreciate them welcoming me by name each visit after only coming in once prior! It really makes you feel valued as a patient and does not go unnoticed. Keep up the great work & I'm glad to have found such a wonderful place for my physio and massage!!
