Kortney is passionate about helping people and loves how Acupuncture helps her achieve this. Her focus is on inner balance, peace, stress reduction and she has a passion for working with anxiety and depression. Through Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine she can help treat the body, mind and spirit.
Several thousand years ago, East Asian practitioners discovered that the body forms disharmonies as a result of the various physical and mental stresses of life. Oriental medical theory explains these disharmonies as an imbalance of opposing forces called yin and yang. This imbalance disrupts the movement of the body's vital energy (qi) along the meridian pathways, which are channels through which the body's energy is thought to flow.
The actual craniosacral system is the soft tissues and fluid that protect the brain and spinal cord. But, it also has a direct connection with the central nervous system and when one is affected so is the other. During a session, the therapist uses a soft and gentle touch to release any tissues in and around the craniosacral system.
It's a gentle manual therapy where the therapist assesses the structural relationships between the viscera (organs), and their fascial or ligamentous attachments to other systems in the body. This means our specially trained therapists are able to help relieve pain when those issues are related to decreased mobility of an organ.
It's a light-touch, hands-on treatment that releases local nerve tensions while at the same time assesses the effects it has on the rest of the body. By accessing this relationship, our specialized therapists can begin to understand the more comprehensive (full body) dysfunctional pain patterns the client is experiencing.

We have been seeing Kortney for years now for acupuncture and cupping treatments. She is so friendly and personable. She is extremely knowledgeable and will adjust each session to fit the needs of your body. We never feel rushed with her! We moved to St Albert and still continue to go to Kortney as she is the best!

The people are amazing!. Kortney is superb at acupuncture, I wanna take her home. She is so understanding and very patient. Listens to your concerns and deals with them head on!.. Very thoughtful and you never feel uncomfortable or rushed. It’s quite the experience. Sarah’s the massage lady I seen and she’s a great laugh. Makes you feel very comfortable, It wasn’t as awkward as I always thought getting a massage would be. Top shelf ladies. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Thank you for all you do!! ♥️
