We learnt our craft in the historic capital of the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy at a premiere Gelato University located in Bologna. Slow churned, fine tuned, small batch gelato and sorbet. With a focus on local, fresh ingredients. We make everything by hand in our kitchen located in the Landmark District of Kelowna and since our inception we've won The Best of Kelowna, in the Gelato category, for four years.
We announced this past July our new line-up of baked goods and desserts. All of them meant to enhance the award-winning gelato and sorbets. It was time to take another bold step towards fulfilling our dream of becoming Kelowna's one-stop-shop for gelato, sweet confections, and baked goods made-from-scratch.

You know from other reviews that this is the best gelato in Kelowna - but another reason to come here is that the staff actually care. I eat out a lot, like a dozen times a week. I can’t remember the last time someone came out to the outdoor seating to check to see how your take away was. Seriously, we order from the friendly and informative staff member behind the counter, pay, get our huge cones and sit outside. There is free parking out front. The shop itself was really nice, bright and clean. It was my first time there, so I tried a few things. The pizza was super flavorful with a delicious light airy crust. I tried 2 different tarts, lemon and chocolate caramel. Let's just say I could eat a tub of the lemon filling, it was that good, and although I have had a similar chocolate caramel tart at another place, this one was by far better. My family and I are from Grande Prairie, Alberta and I found out about QB gelato from a YouTube Vlog/Review so when we came to visit Kelowna, we tried it and we loved it! The staff were friendly and helpful and they are very knowledgeable about their products. Loved all the gelato flavors we tried (Pistachio, strawberry, coffee, vanilla, salted caramel). Gelato was not too sweet and just right. Flavors tasted natural and fresh. Cookies and danish were also awesome. We'll definitely come back to try other flavors while we're here in Kelowna. Starting with the interior, QB was modern and lovely!
Products had high quality, and were selective.
I liked the pistachio flavour the most, but the holy cacao was too sweet that I couldn’t finish it all!
The two people who helped us with our orders were friendly, kind and helpful.

The tastiest pace in town. Wonderful wonderful gelato with many many flavours combinations. Not your 'everyday gelato' place. Everything is made fresh, with care and precision. If you are looking for special treat that will make your dinner guests jealous, this is the spot. Local, hands on owners. Great service. I came here with B and Y. QB Gelato is not located downtown. I found this place through Yelp. This place is definitely a well deserved 5 stars quality gelato place.
B got the Chai gelato and lime jalapeno sorbet.
I got the Chai and Custard gelato.
Y got the cereal milk gelato.

I come to QB Gelato every time I come to Kelowna. They always give amazing customer service and their gelato tastes unbelievably fresh. They are part of the 2% of gelato that actually use FRESH ingredients! When you ask for a sample, they pair it with another flavour so you can find two flavours that really compliment each other. Their flavours always have some local twists - honey, herbs, fruits from something in the Okanagan.
I asked for a sample of carrot cake, and they gave me a scoop of salted caramel with it. HEAVEN! So that's what I got on this visit. My friend got the cheesecake

First impression was friendly and welcoming. The guy who served us, probably the owner, proudly introduced us his gelatos and generously gave us spoon after spoon of sample to try while my intention was only a scoop. His passion on gelato is genuine and infectious, which transmitted from his treat. After a conflicting debate, we ordered pistachio and mint chocolate. They were superb, not like any others. We were naive to say that we had good gelato before but nothing can compare to them. I would dare say it's one of the world's best, if it gets a 3* Michelin one day I wouldn't be

We stopped into this great shop in search of a quick morning coffee on a road trip and it turned out to be the *perfect* stop. My guy got his first-ever affogato following a gentle nudge from Kevin, and a delicious scone. And I, who always skips the sweet treats because I'm GF and DF, was treated to a handful of DELICIOUS dairy-free samples. I ended up taking a carry-out container with chocolate (TO DIE FOR), coconut (MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH), and avocado (TANGY YUMMY SURPRISE). Whenever we're back in Kelowna, we'll definitely be making a stop there again.

Blown away by how flavourful the gelato is at this place! W.O.W. Some familiar items like mint chip, cookies & milk, pistachio but the flavour of each is pumped up by about 10 notches. Then there's a whole list of more unique items. I ended up with strawberry and basil mix. Kids got cookies & cream, blueberry lavender, and stracchiatella. Rivals Bella Gelateria in Vancouver, perhaps even better. Will definitely be back every trip to Kelowna!

Came today 20 min before closing with 2 small kids in our party of 5. We didn't feel rushed to decide on flavors. After trying a few flavours, we decided on Holy Cacao (Dark Chocolate), Salty Caramel, and Green Goddess (Pistachio). Holy Cacao really complemented the Salty Chocolate even the kids enjoyed them both quite a bit. The Green Goddess was rich and creamy with small bits of pistachio. We enjoyed it on the outdoor patio because it was a beautiful night. Will return on our next trip to Kelowna!

I've had gelato in Italy and at the top shops in Vancouver - none of which stand up to this gelato. This is extremely good stuff. The pistachio (Green Goddess) blew my mind...the dark chocolate sorbet is amazing. Not at all like any sorbet i've ever had. You won't even believe it's sorbet. I am not an ice cream guy, but I had to hit this gem all 3 days of our visit to Kelowna. Now to work it off for our next visit!

All the counter girls are super friendly and eager to offer samples. The atmosphere is really beautiful and "hygge" (as the Danish say)! Great little patio seating out front which will be perfect when the weather gets nicer.
I had the orange blossom yogurt gelato which had roasted pistachios and pomegranate in it... so delish! My mom had the peaches & mascarpone... also very delicious! You can fit 2 flavours in a small cup. The
