The Mississauga Real Estate Board operates as a not-for-profit corporation mandated through By-laws, and elected Board of Directors and monitored by a Governance Committee. Founded in 1954 by a group of Brokers with vision, MREB has seen many changes through the years and has remained a strong and viable organization of REALTORS(R).
The Mississauga Real Estate Board was born in the basement of the First United Church of Port Credit. They all agreed upon a regulatory organization located in the heart of real estate activity in Port Credit. Harold A. Clarke was the Founding President of the then called "Port Credit Real Estate Board", Sheff Cassan was the founding Secretary.
The trademarks MLS(R), Multiple Listing Service(R) and the associated logos are owned by The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) and identify the quality of services provided by real estate professionals who are members of CREA. The trademarks REALTOR(R), REALTORS(R) and the REALTOR(R) logo are controlled by CREA and identify real estate professionals who are members of CREA.
MREB is committed to providing members with the right technology tools to be most productive at significant savings. Government Relations, the Board has a political voice in Ottawa, Queen's Park and the City of Mississauga. The Board delivers many services to Members, not the least of which is affiliation with the public sector.
The Mississauga Real Estate Board is one of the largest boards in Canada with a dedication to both the growth of the profession and the concerns in the communities in which we work. We will be putting our muscles and energy towards helping the Habitat crew build four semi-detached homes in Mississauga for four low income families in need of a safe, affordable place to live.

The Mississauga real estate board is a great organization that helps Realtors from the Mississauga area a number of ways. For example, it acts as a liaison between the Mayor and Realtors to address local concerns for Realtors working in the Mississauga area. Mississauga is a large city and needs an organization that looks out for local Realtors.
