The Pinewood is a adults only motel(19+) nestled in a private park like setting. We offer 6 unique 1 and 2 bedroom suites all poolside. You have a choice of 2 regular motel rooms as well as 4 cottage like suites with kitchen/kitchenettes with all the amenities. We offer a sparkling pool, satellite TV, and WiFi.

We also have barbecues and fire pits for our guests to enjoy. The Pinewood features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. The adults-only property has barbecue facilities, as well as a garden and fire pits. Both free WiFi and private parking are available on site. At the motel, every room has air conditioning.

House keeping Rooms - 5/5. Super clean and well equipped. Towels & cloths for kitchen and bath. Linens are comfy. Beds are firm but comfortable. Sofa and table in room, plus table with umbrella outside (around the pool). Lots of space in 2 br suite for family of four. Cleaning supplies to do dishes and hotel ammenities, like shampoo, also included.
Location - 5/5 ~20 minute walk to fantastic beach with lots of sand this year. Is very busy. Close to Port Franks for boating, Grand Bend for shopping and Forest for groceries and Tim Hortons.
Service 4/5 - Super friendly owners but are not good at

This place is one hidden gem. I would absolutely recommend it. The owners are absolutely amazing and you're able to bring your pets here as well too. Always friendly kind faces around the pool to greet you very clean rooms as well as fire pits and firewood included

Cozy place to stay. My room was clean and decently maintained. There was a good selection of pots and pans available in the kitchen. Wifi was weak and spotty which is the reason for the loss of a star.

If you like to be nature this is your place. The room was clean. We had everything that we needed. (Fridge, Microwave, AC) Ipperwash Beach 10 mins by walk, Pinery Provencial Park 10 mins with car. I enjoyed with my dogs. The motel and the beach also dog friendly.

I HIGHLY recommend this place! The room was immaculately clean and the owners are beyond friendly and helpful. It was peaceful, quiet and a beautiful place to spend a few nights away. My husband and I absolutely loved our stay and will stay again the next time we're in the area.

Cute, clean, dog friendly available rooms with everything you need while away in a kitchen, even a BBQ specific to your room. Owners are very nice, accommodating and always available. Fire pits and closed in gazebo for you as well. The pool was warm, and well kept. Easy walk to the awesome beach and bush paths. Only negative was the beds. Old uncomfortable doubles that need to be replaced desperately.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights. It's a peaceful area and the owners are very nice. Rooms are incredibly clean and lots of space. The pool was a great bonus! Wish we could have stayed longer!

The owners are incredibly nice and accommodating!! The rooms are spotless, I went out of my way to look for dust and grim in the bathroom, I failed. Very homey and comfortable beds. The pool is surrounded by mini lights and is lite up all night. Wouldnt go anywhere else! Perfect getaway spot! Walk down to the beach is no more than 15 minutes! Very cheap for how new the renovations are. Would reccomend for a girls weekend, night away from the kids, romantic getaway, or even alone. Well done to the owners keep up the amazing work! And their dog is ridiculously adorable and never barks.

Just had a 5 day weekend with a group of girlfriends at The Pinewood and had an amazing time! The units were the cleanest I have ever seen at a motel! Martha and Glenn were fantastic hosts. Very accomodating (translation: tolerating a group of rather loud and exuberant ladies). They make sure you have everything you need. I would highly recommend it!

My friend and I stayed at The Pinewood this weekend and we were so impressed! Martha and Glen were so friendly and waited for our arrival to ensure that we had everything we needed. We wanted to visit Grand Bend and they helped us with getting a cab and offering us advice. The room was the cleanest room we have ever stayed in and had everything we needed. Just an FYI, the beds and pillows were SO comfortable. We felt like we were sleeping on a cloud! We will definitely recommend this place and visit again.
