Welcome, it is our pleasure to introduce you to our small family run Motel. We have taken one of our historic downtown buildings & converted it into high end rooms. Each room is reminiscent of years gone by with old pictures of our town adorning the walls. Exposed brick & original oak trim. Yet we pride ourselves in giving our guests all the ammenities of today such as fridge, microwaves & wireless internet.

Our charming country town caters to your needs with a wide variety of stores & restaurants all within walking distance. You will be a hop skip & a jump away from many attractions in the Grand Bend area, as well as being close to Ailsa Craig or Strathroy.

About Us Report

Main Street Motel has evolved due to the hard work of Andrew & Christine Dekoning, as well as their two children Chelsy & Sid. After purchasing the building in 2007, they worked to develop the property into what it is today. Originally the building was the Bank of Commerce back in the early 1900s.

This motel is such a small town gem! We stayed here for the weekend and travelled nearby to Grandbend and Sarnia for entertainment. The management is fantastic, the room was cleanest I've ever stayed in, and the patio out back was such a great space to unwind at the end of our day. We loved it here!!

A fabulous place to stay with lots of wonderful history. The owner was wonderful and told us how they saved this old building. We loved our room and the private patio. Lots of things close by and away from all the hustle and bustle of beach town. Wonderful for a quiet romantic getaway!

This is the 3rd time we booked our stay. The rooms are clean. The managers are very pleasant. Close to all amenities. Very close to Grand Bend and Goderich.

What a gem! Perfect location to enjoy a day at Pinery/Grand Bend. The room was clean and the decor was excellent. LOVE the exposed brick. Nothing to complain about - the lady who checked us in was super friendly as well.

Our impromptu trip to Grand Bend was made even better with our stay at Mainstreet Motel. Clean, spacious, great energy, comfy beds and courteous management. Recommend it to anyone going to Grand Bend for a weekend or overnight stay. 12 mins to the beach!

Stayed at the motel the past Saturday . Our car couldn't start, the owner did the jump start and saved us at the night. The room is cosy, nice and clean.
