Please feel free to submit a request for a seasonal spot and we will do everything we can to accommodate your request as soon as possible. At this point, we foresee a 2-3 year waiting period for seasonal sites. If you have made a Reservation Request for an Overnight site, you will receive an email from us shortly cancelling your booking.
Saugeen Cedars Family Campground is a relaxed environment where you can kick your feet up and enjoy what nature has to offer. Our sites are spacious - either treed, full sun, or riverfront -- we can give you whatever your needs are. Besides the Water Slide, the kids have a playground to enjoy, and places galore to ride their bikes.

Campground has a lot of potential but is slowly going under. The building for showers is outdated and was nasty dirty. Doesn’t look like anyone was keeping up on the cleaning. No wifi and cell service was horrible. The shuttle to take you down river had no schedule posted. Tried to contact number provided on website for shuttle and got no responds until hours later so couldn’t get the shuttle to go downriver. Was disappointed.

Back in January, we had booked 3 sites which would accommodate 4 trailers to accomodate our group site request and we were assured they would be available to us even though they were going fully seasonal. Just last week... 2 weeks before our arrival we received a cancellation email. Now, no one will answer the phone or return an email. Very unprofessional.

Large campground well back from the highway and straddling the Saugeen River. Mostly seasonal sites but several overnight sites available too. We camped on an unserviced group site because we prefer privacy and no amenities. Our site was well shaded and right on the river.
There is a flush toilet and outdoor shower in the group campsite area, and flush toilets in the other overnight camping areas of the park. The pavilion has laundry (paid) and hot showers (no charge). Another review said the showers were new... I dont think I have high standards for campground washrooms but the showers here are

Lots of friendly staff and great camp sites. The staff and owners are always willing to help make you confortable and can help find a site that is good for you. They have a few cabins and a great swimming area. Tubing is amazing and they will give you a ride to the start. They have a small store if you want to buy goodies or meals. The bathrooms are nice and the park is clean. Great place for camping

My friends and I have done an annual trip to this campground for the past four years. There is a lot of space on the group sites and the people that work here are so nice, very laid back and friendly. They have a bus that shuttles people up the river and tubes for rent to float down (or you can bring your own). It's definitely an awesome spot and the lazy river is worth the visit!
