I was young when this all went down so it was hard to articulate and respond, but I knew what happened to me here was wrong, I'd like to revisit from a more mature perspective. I volunteered here over the holidays, which in itself was an odd experience, they treat their customers very poorly and do not take criticism well. They also had me clean their cat litter, and asked me if I was disabled when I made mistakes, I was naive so I didn't see the red flags. Shopping here was a mistake. From a trend I noticed in her previous reviews is that she seems to serve people she knows better than new customers. To start, when I ordered for curb side pickup there were no crystal dime tip S on the website. When I showed up to purchase I was greeted with attitude. Finally when I checked m order and she missed a amber crystal and when I called back (twice might I add) I was never called back or even contacted for a resolution. I have know Christine for 12 years now. When I moved from the concrete jungle of Toronto, I developed allergies in The Forest City and knew nobody here that could help me. I woke up stuffed up every day. I went on Groupon and found $99 allergy testing at Heaven Scent and I booked an appointment. I am a Registered Kinesiologist and have an excellent diet and dairy free. I also taught Natural Nutrition in Colleges.....so I was curious about what environmental allergens I have. I know my body well.

Whoever I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude. A friend referred me to this store who had previously purchased hemp cbd oil for animals from this location. I was interested in purchasing it online, if available, through their store. I could not find their item as their website search bar was not functioning correctly (pulling up articles vs products sold online) so I gave their store a call to inquire. When asking, the individual was very defensive, curt, and was EXTREMELY unfriendly, when answering my question and hung up on me right away. There is a kind way to say "no" if you don't have

I went in for ear candling and while the service was overall ok, the fast pace of selling me a supplement directly afterwards without verbally stating that the shop offers no refunds or returns, was not appreciated. I bought the supplement and returned it the same day and lost $69 with an email message from Christine, the owner, that reads "We… don’t take any exchanges for refunds on products due to the nature of our business. There are several signs in the store and on our cash register receipts that all sales are final. I am required to only put this notice on till receipts; but

Christine should not be running any type of business!!! The turnover in her staff speaks volumes. She is rude to her staff and customers. She also makes up "policies" as she pleases. I went for Ideal Protein and I do believe that not even Christine is qualified to be monitoring people on this program....nor is her staff. Her staff has at least been very pleasant.

I am extremely disappointed in Heaven Scent and will never return. I was interested in trying the Ideal Protein diet and so googled it and discovered this location close to my home. I went in for an intake meeting. It was about an hour but the associate left at least 5 different times to answer the phone and deal with other customers as there was nobody else in the store. It was fine but wasn't overly professional; the associate I was dealing with was nice enough but was wearing dirty clothes that had old food stains on both the top and the pants. I went here last year with a Groupon for an "Allergy Test, Acupuncture Session & Nutrition Consultation." Her computer system told me incredulous things and I'm surprised I didn't drop dead from some ailment right there. Christine has a terrible bedside manner and is short with both clients and her employees. But no worries, all my troubles could go away if I spent oodles of money on vitamins/supplements. No thanks. I left feeling completely scammed.
