Services
The Lions Club of Winnipeg Housing Centres' Board of Directors is comprised of Lions Club of Winnipeg members. Today, Lions Housing Centres continues to provide a comfortable, home-like atmosphere and for the first time, a continuum of care for over 700 Residents - a testament to the determination, faith and energy of the Lions Club of Winnipeg.
There are 212 units in our independent living residence, and 119 of those units are designated as housing for low-income seniors. Lions Manor offers many additional amenities for all our residents such as a Doctor's walk-in clinic, library, hair salon, on-site ATM, rooftop garden, restaurant, and a convenience store.
When caring for yourself or a loved one has become too difficult, or has exceeded the ability of a home care worker or family member, the decision to find a more assistance can be a challenge. Please reach out the the WRHA Home Care Central Intake line at 204-788-8330 to determine eligibility for long term care options.
To apply for admission to Lions Personal Care Home, please contact the Winnipeg Home Care Intake office at (204) 940-2655 to initiate the process for Personal Care Home placement. Eligibility for Personal Care Home placement is based on a multidisciplinary assessment conducted through the Long-Term Care Access Centre and Panel Review Board.
