Dwayne Weidendorf, award sponsor and publisher of the Peace Arch News, presented the award to Costa and Nico Docolas on behalf of their parents, George and Linda Docolas.

Ocean Park Pizza & Steak House was founded in 1978 with the commitment to serving superior "home cooking" at affordable prices. A family business from the beginning, the Docolas family brought a focus of hard work and an appreciation for quality to their restaurant. It wasn't long before the community responded and Ocean Park Pizza & Steak House has been an Ocean Park favourite ever since.
The Ocean Park community isn't just where we live and work, it is a place we are proud of. For over 40 years, the Ocean Park Pizza/Village Pub family and staff have proudly supported and participated in numerous charity events and fundraisers. Sponsoring sport teams, pub nights, donations and volunteering with local and global charities, youth groups and beyond all keep us connected as a community.

I ordered the beef dip, the worst I have ever had. The sandwich did not even have any mayo on the bun, never mind the cheese and onions. I have no idea why anyone would waste their hard earned money at that business. If I could give them zero stars, I would. This business should be out of business. Customer service is completely lost on them, and their chef should be unemployed.

Extremely disappointing. Hamburger was awful, must have been forgotten on griddle till it became a tough ball, nowhere to be seen on bun. Overcooked is understatement. Chicken wings dry stringy, not in the least crispy badly reheated. And it all came together, appys are supposed to be while waiting for main to be properly made. Fries were very good but not enough to compensate. The place is nice. It Was very busy but that is no excuse, we still paid for good hamburgers and wings. Off day not excuse either, just not ok!

Excellent service and great food. One of the best roast lamb I've had in awhile. Pizza and beef dip were on par as well. Atmosphere was quaint and reminded me very much of the atmosphere of Mountain Shadow Pub. The retro 80's music put this place over the top in my books. We'll definitely be returning.

If your craving pizza and pasta this is the spot. Family run restaurant with several generations working through all tiers of the restaurant. The owner are proud of what they have accomplished here and it shows in the service and the quality of food. We came as a group of 5 and ordered a variety of dishes so we could sample everything. Upon entering you have the choice of the dining room side or the bar side and we chose the dining room side.
Food was promptly delivered after our orders were placed. Amongst our party we had Zesty Italian Pizza, nachos, lamb shank, baked tortellini and beef dip
