Dr. Prpic conducted a contact lens fitting and was great up until he knew I wouldn't be purchasing contacts with him. I went in telling the optician the specific brand I used and how I wanted to continue using it. He wanted to try newer brands which I was open to. We tried one which wasn't working out as well as the original brand I wanted, so on my second visit I inquired about pricing before we continued. Once I found out about pricing, I realized my $200 every 2 years benefit would only cover 6 months worth of contacts for newer brand products. Once I set my price point, I inquired

Saw them for an urgent matter. Was seen promptly. Very thorough and professional. No nonsense. Not pressured to buy glasses. Was seen by Dr Chen. Will be back.

Honestly the best optometry experience Ive ever had. The Optometrist, Dr. Petar Prpic is a HIGH QUALITY professional who knows what he is doing. He made every one of my visits feel like a walk in the park and not at all intimidating. Actually when I got a really serious eye infection he was the only doctor to diagnose it correctly after being misdiagnosed 2 times by 2 other doctors. He ensured to explain the treatment and made himself available for questions or concerns. I would HIGHLY recommend Petar if you want your eye exams done right! I have now referred everyone I know to him because I trust

Had my eyes checked and got a new pair of glasses here. While pricey, service was attentive and personable. The optometrist was friendly and explained my prescription to me. While that was getting done, the staff went around the store and pulled the glasses they felt were best for my face shape and based on my preferences. It made the experience fun and painless. I was done in 40 minutes from beginning to end.

Found this place because its close to my work. I was in for an eye exam because it's been years. Found out I have very minor far sightedness and the Doctor told me I really didn't need glasses at this time; not pushy at all for something I don't need. Receptionist was great, friendly and quick. They were able to charge directly to my health coverage which is a bonus.

All in all leave your dog at home, they dont belong in an eye care store (Vancouver or not); and glasses cost money, it is what it is.

Minus the one star I've given, was excited about going to get new glasses and sunglasses, walked in with my dog to be literally stopped at the door 'we don't allow dogs in here' -guess I'll go somewhere else to spend a few hundred dollars!

After getting fed up of my previous optometrist's assistant's attitude when trying to book an appointment, I said screw it and decided to check out another place, closer to work. I found that this place had a Groupon and decided to try it out because the Groupon was $98 for a full eye exam and $200 towards any frame in store. I was due for new glasses anyway.

When I arrived, I wasn't really greeted by the receptionist. She was okay, but not too friendly, just kind of did her job sort of thing and didn't really try to be friendly or make me comfortable. She helped me do some

Seemed fine to me, it was a bit pricey, but I didn't get into a fight with them about it. I'll keep going here because it's close to where I work, but I wouldn't have any problem going somewhere else if it were more convenient.

So it's time again that I should change my glasses.
I want to find an Optometrist close to my work.
As I am very close to EyeMax store, I called to see if I could get an appointment with an Optometrist (just an Optometrist for prescription).
When I came for my appointment the receptionist weren't the most friendly person, but didn't matter.
The doctor was pretty nice and was answering all my questions.

Now where I get very mad is when I came to pick my prescription for contact ( as the store itself are very pricey, 85 CAD for fitting and 300 CAD for 1 year of contact lenses) As

I was downtown and my contact lens ripped. Luckily, the doctor could see me, did my eye exam and gave me a free pair of contacts that were even better than the ones I had. They were also cheaper to buy and they said they would ship it to me free if I wanted to buy some. I still had a bunch of leftover lenses and they worked out an exchange for me! Awesome customer service, will definitely order there next.

I popped in here for a quick exam to check for possible retinal tear. The staff was very helpful and was able to squeeze me in on very short notice. The woman managing the front was exceedingly helpful and compassionate, and also very knowledgeable and experienced about all the administrivia when dealing with medical coverage, MSP, etc (all the while training new staff while she was helping me!). I found the overall experience with the front of house side of things to be extremely competent, which when compared to many other places which sometimes have very inexperienced receptions, is a huge plus

Done with this place. I got a call that my contacts were in, called back the receptionist and told her I would pick them up after I got back into town. Returned home to a snotty answering machine message from one of the doctors there, that they had been holding my contacts, had left me three messages, and were going to send them back. I called the receptionist, she was super apologetic, I figured it was a lack of communication and let it go.

I needed a reprint of a bill from my eye exam for insurance purposes, I called to ask that it be mailed to me as I didn't have time to go all the way
