A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
Digital radiography (digital x-ray) is the latest technology used to take dental x-rays. This technique uses an electronic sensor (instead of x-ray film) that captures and stores the digital image on a computer. This image can be instantly viewed and enlarged helping the dentist and dental hygienist detect problems easier.
Fluoride is the most effective agent available to help prevent tooth decay. It is a mineral that is naturally present in varying amounts in almost all foods and water supplies. The benefits of fluoride have been well known for over 50 years and are supported by many health and professional organizations.

Amazing! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! I felt at ease and well taken care of the whole time. Dr. Tarantino even took time out to check on me after hours. He is kind, professional and kept me calm during my procedure as I have bad anxiety with going to the dentist. I would highly recommend Dr. Tarantino at Grandview Dentist to anyone looking for a wonderful dentist as well as an amazing staff!!!!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Tarantino’s for over a decade now, and I refuse to see any other dentist. He is always kind, patient, and ensures that you have a pain-free experience. Dr. Tarantino has gone out of his way to assist me with a few dental emergencies, showing that he truly cares for his patients. His staff are equally amazing; they are always polite and do their absolute best to accommodate you. The office is clean and cozy as well. I greatly appreciate Grandview Dental and will always be thankful to Dr. Tarantino and his amazing, friendly staff.

I rarely have to wait past my appointment times which I find so frustrating with other medical appointments. Staff is super nice and always do helpful. I had a late August appt but when something earlier came up they called me right away. Dr. Tarantino is very thorough and always listens to your concerns. If he takes your insurance, this guy and office should absolutely be your go to
