BC Academy of Medical Aesthetics is a Canadian leader in Botox(R) injection training for licensed medical professionals. We offer licensed physicians, registered nurses and nurse practitioners a comprehensive hands-on training. Trainees will review facial muscles anatomy, injection techniques, patient examination facial mapping and analysis for safe injection, and how to handle complications.
In this certificate program you will be trained to use dermal fillers to restore youthful fullness to face and lips and enhance shallow contours or soften those facial creases and wrinkles. Dermal fillers have been called "liquid facelifts" because they offer many of the benefits of a surgical facelift without the downtime.
This course includes training on two exciting, effective and enhanced modules for facial exfoliation and rejuvenation: 1- Dermaplaning and 2- Application of Rejuvenating Products. Dermaplaning is a manual method of facial skin resurfacing and exfoliation. It is performed using a stainless steel medical grade scalpel to comfortably skim away dead skin cells, residues, pigmentation, fine lines and debris from the facial skin.
This theory and hands-on training / workshop will introduce the history and various uses currently being offered with Mesotherapy, Lipotherapy and Lipodissolve, different methods of weight loss and the difference between them.
We will present, mechanism of action, contraindications, precautions, pain management, patient selection and education, including challenges the practitioner will encounter as well as exploring the facts and fictions regarding treatment outcomes.Students will identify applications for cellulite reduction, weight loss, body and facial fat reduction, rejuvenation and pain management.

Dr. Honardoust is by far one of the best doctors that I have seen for aesthetic procedures. He listens carefully to what you wish to have done and performs his procedure to your liking. He is calm, funny, respectful and professional. He is really nice and easy to talk to. I will definitely continue going to him in the future. My face is glowing and I'm super happy with his work! Me, my sister and my mom love him!! Also his office is clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend him if you want to have aesthetic procedures done!

Honestly this was the BEST course I have ever taken. Dr. Honor-Doust is extremely thorough. He keeps the class sizes small to impart the best knowledge and it’s very interactive so that we can ask questions throughout the course. We have PLENTY of models to practice on which is so important when learning a new skill and I got to practice every area we learned. I did some research before choosing the academy and I'm so happy I attended the medical aesthetics and laser course! Imane is great at teaching the anatomy and function of the skin. She is very approachable and knowledgeable, I can see she has a passion for what she does. Dr.Honars' teaching approach is intensive but laid back and fun. They made learning so much information in a week possible. Every afternoon you will be working on clients under the very close watch of the teaching staff, Imane is always willing to stay late and go through procedures until you feel confident. I am a medical Dr and have taken Dr Honardoust 's courses. I can endorse that he is one of the BEST instructor in BC if not the best . I have taken courses elsewhere and find that the content and comprehensiveness and didactic format are not as good as with Dr Honardoust. He is a true pioneer and a true contributor to this industry. I recommend him whole -heartedly to anyone learning about Medical esthetics and Botox and filler injections ...
