Since 1974, Sunrise Healing Lodge Society has provided Indigenous based programs dealing with addictions in the community. We help men, women and their families recover from the destructive effects of alcohol, drug and gambling addictions. We are client focused and based on native spirituality as the foundation that supports our program and service delivery.

Services
Get door-to-door bottle pick-up through Skip the Depot, and choose Sunrise Healing Lodge as your designated charity! This means that Skip the Depot will come to your house or business and pick up your cans and bottles and donate the proceeds directly to Sunrise Healing Lodge!

Contact the Aboriginal Friendship Centre for help getting connected to Sweat Lodges, Elders, Drumming and other Cultural Programming. Support for parents/caregivers of children struggling with addiction (regardless of age) through 1 to 1 phone support, online parent support groups, and a free phone support line.

Seek medical attention before you go because they will not allow you to go to the doctors. They will kick you out while sitting in the lobby with nowhere to go. Was there a month and I get kicked out when other people do drugs in there and have relationships with other clients. Thank you for teaching me that people will kick u out for walking away from them. They will yell at you and scold you like a child if you don't do what they say but just another residential school I guess.

I am a 3x Sunrise graduate. A l/t program Alumni and i can say they provide excellent support and teach you alot in a short amount of time. They give you the tools, you have apply, and continue your journey after you leave. They brought me out of the darkness, i had to keep walking towards the light.

Staff was very kind and helpful. However strictly abstinence based so because I'm taking Naltroazone they weren't able to except me into their program. Understandable, but they were quick to point me in the direction of other programs that would except me while taking this medication. Thank you for your help!

My life was like a tornado spinning out of control and not having anything to live for or so I thought before I came to Sunrise. I was living in self pity self denial and self hate for the kind of life I was living and Sunrise treatment center has helped me to really understand why I was the way I was. They really helped me get down to the root of my problems and for the first 42 days it helped me to realize that I had needed more work because my alcoholism was still to much at the surface and would have taken over again so I applied for the long-term program that it had to offer and it was then
