Hello, I had a root canal performed this morning. I'm not sure what the doctors name was but it was an absolute pleasure. Very professional, he got the job done all the while making me laugh. I actually started to fall asleep halfway through. He got it done in one appointment and I would recommend this doctor and this dental group to anyone who has anxiety over dental appointments. Have been seeing the amazing Dr Shek for 30 years and have had the best experience every visit. Just today I had to have a chipped tooth repaired and was expertly treated by new dentist, Dr Wiebe, and her amazing assistant. What a lovely bunch of professionals here! Everyone from the dentist (dr shobi) the hygienist(Marie) the front staff are all so kind, treat you like family, are always on time efficient and incredibly organized. I’m the most nervous person when visiting my dentist but immediately I’m put at ease with the easy banter and full disclosure of what’s being done next. So glad I found Dr. Cheryl Wiebe at Academy Dental Group. I had some issues with one of my wisdom teeth, and in short order, Dr. Wiebe performed the painless extraction about a week ago. Really a nice touch from the staff to call me the next day to see how I was doing. Sometimes it’s the little things that make you feel like you’re special. … Then yesterday I had Hygienist Marie perform the best cleaning I’ve ever had! Great staff, great service, and that personal touch to show that they care. Glad I switched to Academy Dental Group! Thanks 🙏
