As one of the co-owners, Jason defines what the Iconz experience is all about. With over 15 years of experience, he has gained the reputation as one of Durham's best barbers. His electric personality and passion for the art ensures that each client gets the style they deserve. For Jenn, Hairstyling is her art, being a hairdresser is her passion and Iconz Hair studio has been part of a dream come true!
She loves every aspect of the hair industry and all she has been able to learn from it and add to it. She is passionate about continuing education, learning from other artists and also teaching up and coming stylists. Services
30 minutes of total relaxation. The service starts with a hot towel to soften the skin and open the pores. Then we gently massage the skin with a pre-shave oil. Using the highest quality shaving cream we straight razor shave with the grain. Followed by another hot towel before we repeat the same process to achieve the closest shave possible.
Note: all price start at the prices/ranges listed. We understand that every client is unique has different needs/requirements; therefore no price will be guaranteed until you have met with your stylist and consulted in person with them. Olaplex is a value added service and can be integrated into any chemical service and is highly recommended for any color correction or if hair is in a compromised state.

I tried out Iconz for the first time just this past Saturday. I've been on the hunt for a new barber and I found this place. After reading positive reviews I was encouraged so I scheduled a cut with Sahil. It was a breath of fresh air to show a barber the way I usually like my hair, using an old picture of myself, and to leave him to it. I didn't look in the mirror until the end and it was perfect. There is a good vibe at this place too, great chat with Sahil and the other staff. This is my new barber for sure.

I’ve been getting my fades here for a couple years now and I must say….. the quality of barbers, environment and services provided are absolutely amazing. I have my dedicated barber (Ali) but never feel uncomfortable to go to anyone else if he isnt around. This place speaks Talent! Also to mention my sister has now left her Yorkville hair dresser to come here! Thanks Iconz!

I have visited Iconz about five or six times over the last year for colour and extensions.
The salon itself is very bright, modern and welcoming. Everyone is so friendly and always welcomes you when arriving.
The quality is top notch. Jenn is a colour and extension master and she will go out of her way to ensure you get exactly what you are wanting. She has stayed late, fit me in last minute, she will literally do anything for her clients.
Extension consultations are very thorough and she explains the quality, prices, etc. She is also very neutral in the sense that there is no pressure as to

I've been to this location 3 times, and 2/3 times I've been truly disappointed. My first experience was in the fall of 2020 and had an amazing balayage by Victoria (who has since left).
Most recently, in Aug. 2021, I got a cut from their junior styles (Jessica?). While I was aware as a junior stylist, it would take longer and not be perfect, the experience was unfortunate. Not only did the stylist show up 20 mins late, she took 2+ hours to do a simple wash, cut and style. At the end of it, my hair was cut straight across, no movement, no shape and unfortunately cut 3 inches shorter

Jenn is so wonderful! She is so professional and always makes me look and feel fantastic. I am always so happy with my blonde and wouldn't trust anyone else! She also does both of my daughters hair and is so kind and patient with my kids. They always look forward to seeing her and having their hair done. They especially love the fashion colors they can add to their hair. The salon is always so bright and clean, and all the other staff members are always so welcoming. Best hair Salon ever! My experience at Iconz Hair Studio has been amazing every time I have visited! All staff members are so welcoming, friendly and professional. All the stylists at the salon are so good at their job, they never disappoint! My hairstylist, Kayla does an awesome job with my hair! Every time I have done it I have left so satisfied and happy with the results. She always gives me exactly what I want and she's super comforting, friendly and accommodating. My experience at this salon has been so wonderful and I highly recommend them.

Jenn is an absolute wonder woman with hair. I am used to getting fashion colors done (think blue, pink ect) and she's one of the best stylists and colorists I've ever had. She absolutely nailed the dark purple I was hoping for, and she gave me the perfect curtain bangs as well. I know from the last time I was here as well that the color she uses last way longer than what I am used to, so I get my best value. Couldn't be happier.

I can't say enough good things about Iconz! Both Jenn and Kayla are fantastic stylists! Iconz is a warm and welcoming environment. The salon is bright, clean and modern. Jenn has been both mine and my daughters stylist for over 10 years. Jason on the barbers side has also been my husband and sons barber for just as long! His Fades are on Point!! The quality of service and industry knowledge is fantastic. Staff is very friendly, professional and make great conversation!! If you’re thinking about trying this salon – do it!

I have been coming here for over 4 years. The moment I told Jenn what I wanted for my hair, she just knew what to do! She's incredibly professional, honest and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair. The atmosphere is Friendly,Clean and you just feel comfortable. All my kids get their hair cut here and my boys always love their cuts from the barbershop side to. Seriously, if you have been looking for a place, this is it!!

Extremely disappointed with the service at Iconz Hair Studio. I had a 5PM appointment and was assigned to Kayla, I asked for a simple haircut and ashy brown highlights but my hair came out very uneven and very brassy. I don't know if the hairdresser Kayla know what she was doing or if she is too eager to go home. She kept insisting that the highlights were ashy and warm toned but in reality it was very brassy, she used a pink toner and it turned out like this. As for the haircut, I told her it looked uneven and like there's no layers to it but she INSISTED it was ok and tried to

For me to rate something one star means they really dropped the ball, and more than once.
Ball drop 1: I booked an appointment online. Process was pretty straightforward. I showed up about 10 minutes early. The place was busy. Overcrowded in fact.
I waited about 20 minutes until I finally walked up to the front desk to see what was up. I reminded them that I had an appointment and it was already 10 minutes late. They the barber apologized and said he'd be a couple more minutes.
Another gentleman walked in at this point and it was clear he knew the barber. In front of me, the guy says
