Services
This mandatory Competitive Dance Camp is for all existing and new Pure Energy Competitive Dancers, for all levels! This camp is designed to recondition dancers for the upcoming season. You will focus on Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Stretch, Acro, Musical Theatre, Tap and Lyrical. Come join the magical fun as we dance and sing to our favourite Disney music as well as take part in many other wonderful Disney activities.
Jazz is an umbrella term that refers to several related dance styles including roots from tap, ballet, jazz music and African-American rhythms and dance. Jazz dance evolved from a number of influences including Vaudeville and Broadway. Notable choreographers and dancers of jazz dance include Katherine Dunham, Jack Cole, Bob Fosse and Gus Giordano.
You can register in person or online through our website. Space is limited and registration opens to the general public at the beginning of May. We do not hold a spot in class without payment and registration is on a first come first serve basis. There is a Membership fee, you can either pay the lump sum for the session or pay in 10 equal payments Sept.
Pure Energy is always seeking substitute, part time and full time teachers in all levels of ballet, jazz, tap, Acro, Hip Hop, Lyrical & Musical Theatre. Technically qualified candidates with the appropriate teaching experience should also be motivated, offer an inspiring classroom, serve as exceptional role models, mentors and advisors for a diverse student body.

Our 8 year old daughter started dancing at Pure Energy 7 years ago. She started at the recreational level but has been dancing competitively for the last two years. We have nothing but positive things to say about the studio, owners and every teacher she has ever had. Owners Sheila and Jim Nagy are fantastic people who have a genuine interest and caring heart for every child. It's more than just a business for them - it's a passion and desire to see each child reach their full potential while maintaining a fun environment. Our Daughter has participated in the many programs and camps offered at Pure Energy. She has been going to Pure Energy for more than 6 years. Jim and Sheila are excellent, the studios are clean the staff is friendly and professional. The programs are varied and offer a wide variety. This year our daughter has participated in the competitive dance team. Our daughter loves it and has become more responsible for her school studies and her own schedule. We have been going to Pure Energy Dance for almost 8 years now. My oldest started in the recreation level at 18 months old, and is now in the Competitive Level. My youngest daughter is still in the recreational level. Both of my girls love the studio and would not want to be anywhere else. The owners and teachers are all amazing, talented, caring and loving people. They care about the growth and development of every child and they make every child feel special.My daughters love them and look up to them, and we are very happy being part of the Pure Energy Family.

Our daughter is new to the studio and was welcomed with open arms. She is a competitive dancer and has improved immensely this year. The instructors go above and beyond to help her achieve her goals. Good balance of technique while keeping things fun. Sheila and Jim have been at this for many years and it is evident that they have it figured out. Pure Energy was definitely the right choice for our girl!!

My daughter joined Pure Energy comp team this past September and it has been an amazing experience for her. Not only do Sheila and Jim make you feel welcome from day 1, the environment they create is wonderful. They have provided a positive teaching environment and have helped my daughter grow each class. I was really looking forward to having my son attend the all boys hip hop class. However the customer service at this studio is awful. I have called 3 separate times and left 3 messages in the past two weeks. No one has bothered to phone me back. I had some simple questions before registration not asking for much. If they can not even return a simple phone call, I lost trust that they could provide a great program, or a safe environment for my son. There is zero excuse to not have a reception during registration.
