Live to Dance Academy offers a vast assortment of recreational dance programs from age 18 months to adult. Our dance program line up for both girls and boys consists of Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Acro at every age level. Energetic and fun, these dance classes promote strong technical development, rhythm, flexibility and a love of dance.
This energetic 45 minute dance class focuses on balance, rhythm and creative movement. This dance program is designed to introduce dancers to RAD basic ballet terminology and age appropriate ballet principles are gradually introduced and integrated into the fibre of the class. This 45 minute dance class is created for dancers to learn the basics of both Jazz and Tap.
Acro 1 is a 45 minute class which incorporates acrobatic skills, such as cartwheels, walk-over, handstands, aerials etc. Basic Jazz technique will also be taught in these classes. 0-2 yrs Acro experience. In these 45 minute ballet classes we focus on placement, alignment, flexibility and musicality through a blend of traditional ballet techniques and contemporary movement theory.
Acro is a 45 minute class which incorporates acrobatic skills, such as cartwheels, walk-over, handstands, aerials etc. Basic Jazz technique will also be taught in these classes. Our Teen Ballet dance class include barre, center, stretching, adagio and allegro work in a 45 minute class. The classes focus on both physical and intellectual understanding of how and why each movement should be executed.

My sister started out last year scared because she knew she hadn't danced as much as she used to after taking a little break, but with Mrs.Nadine and all the other amazing teachers helping her step by step she couldn't be doing better! Moving up a level in ballet in ONE year and working towards pointe next year, she is doing superb!! Live To Dance Academy is a fantastic school with an amazing facility and faculty that encourages every student to strive! Come by and join the family
