City Hearing Aid Centre
City Hearing Aid Centre is Peterborough's leader in the latest hearing technology and dedicated service. You can get the most from your hearing aids because we are experts in the latest technology and will provide demonstrations and training. Hearing aids can make it easier to hear, especially in places where it can be difficult to listen to others.

It is important that you'll want to use the hearing aids, so we will match you with the perfect. Our team has seen how the right technology can reconnect individuals with their family, friends, colleagues and community. It is incredible to be part of that journey. That is why the City Hearing team is excited to come to work every day.
Services
When hearing aids work, you'll look forward to using them. Every moment with your family, friends and colleagues can sound better. You can focus on conversations instead of trying to listen for words. Our goal is for you to look forward to using your hearing aids because they provide the sounds you expect to hear and they are easy to use.
City Hearing is a team of hearing specialists that will be with you through all parts of your hearing journey. If you decide to get a hearing aid or other technology, we'll match the perfect device for your needs and then be there for ongoing care and support. We are proud to be part of the community.
Aviation noise locations, construction work sites where noise damage can easily aggregate causing damage to your ears. Industrial working locations and labour sites where constant noise decibel levels become a threat to your hearing quality. Leisure pursuits where even listing to your favourite music band, or attending a sporting event can expose your sensitive ears to noise damage situations.
We want to make your life easier, so here are some pointers on listening and communicating with others who may not be hearing impaired. Stay aware of current events. It will be helpful to read the daily paper and to be aware of the programs many people watch, even if you don't watch TV. Ask family members to keep you informed about things that are happening in your community and neighborhood and about events in the lives of people you know.
Make sure you have the hearing impaired person's attention and are clearly visible to him or her before you start speaking. Tapping the person on the shoulder or waving from a distance are acceptable methods for getting a person's attention. Rephrase what you have said when you think the hearing impaired person has misunderstood you.

These guys are great if you're trying to get your hearing aids quickly, and they're excellent at getting warranty claims done... but their service and hearing instrument specialist is very pushy and wont work with you.
If you just need hearing aids and need them quick, this is a great place to go. If you're on ODSP and want to find *good hearing aids* at a good rate, this is the place to go.
But if you want a place that will take care of you, steer clear.
I've been wearing hearings aids for 24 years; throughout the years, I've dealt with many agencies. I'm also a professional audio engineer
