At 21, Jenine wrote the business plan for a bike and snowboard shop after teaching skiing and snowboard racing in Japan. As Whistler grows and continues to evolve, Jenine's excitement for riding down mountains is as wild as ever and helping others to enjoy the mountains brings her the most joy. The lesser spotted mountain leopard has more in common with Trevor than you can imagine.
Evolution is Known for having the highest performance, tightest fleet in Whistler. Our DH bikes are custom built every season with components selected specifically for the whistler park. Collecting your rental equipment, where to ride, where to eat and everything else to get the most out of your day.

We came up for 3 epic days in the late season. Evolution was extremely helpful and all around fun to work with. They tuned our bikes twice a day and kept us rolling even though it was pouring rain every day and our gear was caked with mud.
Everyone there is super friendly. The bikes are dope and the merch is sick!

Popped into the shop at 11:30AM to get new brake pads and new back rotor and I got the call to pick up at 1:30PM! Very fast and friendly service, and they took the time to look at my bike and explain the work they were going to do. Though I hope my bike will stay well tuned for a while, when I do need another service on it I'll be sure to go to Evolution!

Fantastic store. Tucked away but they really took their time to help me pick out the right gear and had great sales people who were nice and knew their stuff- and admitted when they didn't know something. They were enthusiastic about their products and about helping customers. And a special call out to the super helpful daughter of the owner- go unicorns and mermaids!

Excellent customer service.... they ensured that the bikes were are all set up correctly with Moto brakes as requested upon arrival at shop for bike pickup... these small details make all the difference... Every one of the staff were friendly and really helpful... I'll certainly be recommending these guys....

This is my favorite snowboard shop in whistler and my second favorite one after the shop that got me snowboarding in the first place. Lots of great indie snowboard brands & women working here. The employees were able to talk to me about the company histories and I even picked up great mittens from the jndie fashion brand rad from Australia! Always a great vibe and highly recommended

Very nice little shop that rents the best bikes in Whistler. Had an excellent time in the bike park on a fully loaded V10. Bike was in top shape and was serviced daily (had new tires on my 2nd day). Based on the condition of some of the other rental shop bikes, this place has by far the nicest fleet. I also like the fact the shop is independently owned.
One gripe I do have to bring up is that I had rented an Enduro bike (Bronson) online for my wife. Upon arriving at the shop I was told that Enduro bikes aren't allowed in the bike park. This was not indicated anywhere on the website. The

Can't say enough good things about my experience with evolution. So thankful that this shop has knowledgeable people that know the product and are actual willing to help you get what you want.
After sitting on some other rental bikes it was night and day different with evolutions v10. Very well maintained, no worn out grips or stuff that looked like they were trying to extend it's life on the bike.
As I like my bike setup a little bit different then most they had no problem changing it up for me.

I do not snowboard, so I have only been here a couple times in winter, but I have stopped in several times in summer. I think this is one of the coolest (as in chilled) bike shops in Whistler.
There are actually a few that are good, and a couple I have never been to- so I haven't seen the whole of the Whistler bike shop scene. The staff at evolution is so wicked.. They're flexible, helpful, and have the most incredible sales. Not only do they sell a good range of quality products, but they also carry some local small business goods too.
Evolution is always my go-to snowboard and bike shop. They'll bend over backwards to take care of their loyal locals.
