We are now looking forward to the next season. Thanks for a great summer of biking, and we plan for the arrival of snow for a winter of XC skiing and snowshoeing in 2021-2022. Cross Country Connection is the home of cross country skiing and snowshoeing in Whistler. We are located on the trails at Lost Lake Park, in Lost Lake PassivHaus, a short walk from the heart of Whistler Village.

If you are planning for your next ski season, you can get your skis here and start your day on the trails or stop in at our cafe. This exciting and accessible sport is good for all ages and abilities, and we offer lessons and rentals suitable for anyone. Spend a day in the great outdoors gliding down the trail at your own pace exploring the beauty of Whistler's Lost Lake Park trail network on skis or snowshoes.
Services
We have lessons taught by certified CANSI instructors in both classic and skate technique. All lessons begin at our shop at the trailhead of Lost Lake Park beside Lost Lake PassivHaus off of Lorimer Road. All package prices include your lesson, trail pass and your rental plus unlimited use of the gear and trails that day.
Ideal for confident skiers. Learn fundamentals of skate technique including body position and balance, then develop rhythm and control. Family rate $239. Please show up 20 minutes before your lesson to allow for administration, trail passes, and equipment fitting. NOTE: bookings generally start in late November, conditions permitting -- contact us for details.
Create your own experience exploring 13 km of designated trails starting from Lost Lake PassivHaus. Pick up your rentals and trail pass and start any time. Our trail map has specific designated trails to assist you. Pick up your free copy in the shop before you head out, or download and review this one, also available as a larger, printable PDF.
Nestled amongst the trees, the municipal park trails take you to breathtaking vistas overlooking Lost Lake and both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. You would be hard pressed to find a more idyllic setting on a sunny afternoon or a crisp winter night. Lost Lake Park is a short walk from all locations in the Village.
Lost Lake's 25 km trail network is groomed and maintained throughout the ski season by the Resort Municipality of Whistler. Tracks are set for classic skiing and rolled for skate technique, for the most part throughout the area. Night skiing is also available under the lights until 8 PM. Lower Panorama 2.0 km - Popular intermediate trail rolling through a cedar and fir forest.

We are new to cross country skiing so booked an hour lesson and gear for the day. It was a great experience for everyone - our instructor Toshi was awesome - he taught us the basics so we could enjoy the day and made it fun. The equipment was in excellent condition and all the staff friendly and helpful. It was only a five minute walk from our hotel in the village so we could go back for lunch and then ski more in the afternoon. Unlike the other place I checked out, they have a family package which made it a great value for an outing where only one person is footing the bill! Highly recommended

Went cross-country skiing on thursday night and it was a blast! We went around the lake about 5 times as it was my first time doing some ski. It was well marked and beginner friendly.
The access pass cost us about 6$ each on thursday night (discount after 3PM + discount on thursday I think). We rented the skiis + the boots at the same place for 25$ each. The staff was helpful and polite as well!

It's fun to play cross country ski in winter. I only see this sport in Olympic. You can rent the gear for one day. Ski at lost lake track.

Great staff and equipment. We rented 4 bikes for 3 hours and had a ball riding the Lost Lake trails. $20 and hour. My husband and teenage boys rode the blue single track and I found a ton of good fun green rides. Ask them to help you understand the trails - it's hard to understand at first but well worth the effort! Thanks for a great time!!

Hell of an exercise or a relaxing outing. It is a great evening activity with friends as the trail is lit and well maintained. It is a great way to burn some calories and never too busy.
