I hate coming to any store 10minutes before closing because I know how it feels.. i showed up 10minutes before closing and was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. I had a lot of questions in regards to guitars and drums and the staff explained to me very well. This is my 3rd visit to the store and I love every visit

Purchased an aux cable and some guitar cleaning supplies on their website for delivery. One of the bottles of cleaner was listed as out of stock so I expected the order would be delayed while waiting for it to restock. They messaged me very quickly to ask if I would be ok if they replaced the item with a nearly identical one. That would have been great, but even better, they messaged me again a short time later to say they had the original item and would send the complete order out right away. It arrived very quickly and carefully packaged. Great experience overall and the effort and open communication

This is my music store home. Lou and the whole family at KAOS Music Centre make sure that you leave the store more than satisfied, you leave happy. I've been playing for 30 years and this is my favorite music store.
I recently went in with a wonky foot switch for my amp. Lou spent hours trying to fix it. In the end, the pedal was needlessly complicated and not fixable. Lou apologized, which he didn't really have to, it wasn't a pedal that KAOS sells, and gave me another pedal that simply works. The best part, he just gave me the pedal. FREE!

I have come close to buying a cool guitar here a couple of times. it's a compliment that they stock some decent stuff like Bill Nash and Fender and even that cursed Gibson company whose guitars are stupidly expensive now while it's not getting any easier to find a good one. They did have a nice used Historic 57 Les Paul Goldtop recently, priced at thousands more than a new one used to be of course but not really their fault.
The KAOS guys are engaging and fairly knowledgeable about guitar brands and models. You can kind of just talk about your search for the next perfect guitar and I

Went in looking for an autoharp. The staff was occupied so I wandered around. I didn't see any but I stayed, hoping to speak to sales staff. I hovered around the front counter 2-3 times and although the staff person was occupied with a customer, he couldn't even bother to acknowledge me with a "be with you in a second". When a second salesperson had finished with his customer, he ignored me so I asked him if they carried autoharps. He said he'd never heard of them so I tried to describe it to him. He obviously wasn't interested. End of conversation.

I never used this store until this year. There was a guitar I wanted to buy online, a really nice G&L Asat. I was weary about forking out 1800 on ebay, so called the store and they were able to place the order for me. The whole process was impeccable. It was a custom order, so I went back and forth on the spec with Bill at Kaos. It was a really neat experience. He recommended a certain colour tint on the neck which cost $100. I didn't really care about it, so said no as I was indifferent. He said he thought it would look so good that he ordered it and Kaos paid the difference! When I got

I've been a long time customer of some fifteen years- the staff, Bill, Jay, Lou and Ryan- are always very helpful and have offered good and honest advice to me- there's a sense of community to the store, doesn't feel like you're just a "customer" or a "number", they make you feel welcome! I recently purchased a great G & L Tele, as they're one of the few G & L dealers in the city, and their financing methods are quite reasonable. Jay and Lou were quite helpful to me in helping me determine the specs and age of the guitar as it was on consignment (wood type, pick ups, etc) and made sure I was getting

Have shopped here since discovering them in 05,& have spent thousands here & will continue to do so! Use to shop at Long & McQuade but the staff at Kaos are MUCH nicer & friendlier. Also they offer 2 FREE set-ups per year on any guitar or bass you buy & DOUBLE the warranty! How can you top that?!? The manager, Lou, and the rest of the staff are all fantastic, friendly and extremely knowledgeable! Plus, Long and McQuade's first free set up is bogus anyway: they set the guitar up to their liking, not yours! At least at Kaos Music you walk out with the guitar set up to your

I have shopped at Kaos twice even though I live in East Toronto. The first time I went in it was because they were carrying a Yamaha product that wasn't available anywhere else and I could "get it today" if I drove over there. So I did, and I got to chatting with the guys working there and they were really awesome. You know when you go into some music stores and everyone has that attitude like they're better than you or they don't want to waste their time serving customers - that doesn't exist here.
The selection of in-stock guitars is not huge but they have some
