Excellent and friendly service - some bike stores make you feel incompetent if you’re not in the store because you’re preparing for the Tour de France but I felt really comfortable here, with my minimal biking knowledge. They had a wide selection of bike accessories and the prices are significantly lower than other stores in the area. Highly recommended.

Wish i had good things to say about this place but i just do not I about a year ago purchased a Sunday Jake Seeley complete ($1400) and after i took it home the front wheels spokes were so loose i had to true it immediately. Both the bolts going into my female hub were bent. They installed my crank spacers backwards. and on top of that I payed cash because their debit machine sucks and never accepts Scotiabank debit cards the guy counted my cash wrong and insisted i pay an extra 40$ (2 20s were stuck together) i asked him to re count it because i had just gone to the bank down the street and knew

Best shop in Ottawa! I know nothing about bikes and I NEVER feel intimidated walking in there and asking questions. They never push the most expensive bike on me, instead they guided me to the bike that will serve my needs = towing my kids around the city. I’ve never had an issue, mechanically, with any of the bikes and their techs always go the extra mile to make sure I’m happy with the bike. Jose, the owner, is in the shop 95% of the times I’ve been there and he’s super active AND responsive on social if you need him - I’ve asked him quick questions many times and he’s always got

These guys helped me out of a serious jam. I flew my bike to Ottawa only to discover it arrived with a broken shifter/lever, the day before I was riding out on a 12 day tour. Yannick helped me locate the part in the city and did the repair immediately. I really appreciate the quick service guys and Yannick was very helpful. This could have been a real disaster.

I've been to a lot of bike mechanics worldwide, but this place tops them all. They truly put the bike and the customer first. Big shout out to Yannick, his service was exceptional, going above and beyond to make sure my bike was road ready for a 10 day 1500km trip. Bike held up great. Cannot recommend this store enough.

I went in with a broken cycling shoe today and although they didn't have the parts to fix it, they told me where to go where they could take care it of. It says a lot when a store that doesn't have what you need will send you to another store even though it benefits someone else's bottom rather than theirs.

We have bought two children’s bikes from this shop and both times the service was excellent. They took the time to explain different features on the bikes and made suggestions for our daughter. She was nervous about moving from a balance bike to a pedal bike but the guy helping us was so patient and chatted with her directly (not just explaining… things to me) and made her feel comfortable. The shop was busy but he took the time to get her comfortable with the pedal bike. She left a happy little girl. On her first try on the pedal bike she was able to ride!

I hate to write anything other than a glowing review for these guys because I know how great they have been for my friends but I was thoroughly unimpressed last time I was in.
I was hoping to get a bit of work done on my bike that I don't have the tools/time to do myself so I went in and asked for their suggestions. I was told they'd do it all and were happy to but needed to bring some parts in.
I went back a few days later to drop my bike off and was then told by someone else that essentially my bike was too old to fix and they couldn't help me. They didn't offer suggestions

Went here to buy a helmet after comp shopping along various bike places on Bank St. It's in the Glebe so there's definitely a yuppie vibe and if you're on the hunt for some BMX/fixed gear parts or bikes this is definitely a good place to go.
The guys that work there are super nice and helped me find what I was after. All in a nutcase helmet for 40 bucks. Not too bad. However, they don't really seem to a lot of parts/do-dads, which is always what sells me a bike place. Not sure about their service/tune ups.
