Ainley Group is an employee-owned engineering and planning company known for its wide-ranging infrastructure development capabilities and close working relationships with its clients. Established by William (Bill) Ainley in 1961, the firm offers engineering and municipal planning and development services to public and private clients from offices in Barrie, Belleville, Brampton, Collingwood, Kingston and Ottawa.

We provide building and structural engineering services and support services for new construction, reconstruction/replacement, and the upgrade and rehabilitation of public and private buildings and structures. We design for longevity and, when appropriate, facility upgrading to address potential future needs.
Our environmental team understands the value of the natural environment and is committed to minimizing impacts on aquatic and terrestrial resources. Our aim always is to explore all available mitigation options and avoidance strategies and, through careful project planning and design, to establish project protocols that ensure the preservation of identified natural resources both during and after the completion of the construction process.
