Owner and Creative Director of Mak Hair salon, Bita Makky, has over 25 years of experience as a professional stylist and colourist. Bita continues to update and improve her skills by attending seminars and classes to acquire the latest techniques and trends. Bita's experience has taken her across Canada including working at the York Hotel in downtown Toronto.
Bita has trained with the best! Working with and training with Aveda in Ontario, Vidal Sassoon in Alberta. She is also an expert trainer and mentor to junior stylists and apprentices. Bita has been cutting and coloring my hair for 20 years. I would not go anywhere else. I drive from downtown Toronto to see her and don't mind one bit. Bita has excellent cutting/styling skills and is absolutely amazing with color, highlights, etc. My very picky daughter in university also goes to her and it's the first thing she wants to do when she is home on break.

Mak Hair Design Studio is a hidden gem. Owner Bita is a true hairstylist with classy taste, incredible skills, and passion. She mixes colours and highlights in the perfect shades that always complement my skin tone. Her cuts and updos are the best I have ever experienced. Since I discovered Mak in 2005 no one else has touched my hair.
