A friend mentioned about trying wild game steak in Jasper and Syrahs of Jasper came up on my google search. After a whole day of hiking, we decided to have dinner here. Kea was very nice and friendly, our table was wobbly and she happily moved us to another table. We asked her about their Elk Wellington and she explained how it was cooked. It was superb! It was cooked medium rare and was very tender. We loved it! Price was reasonable too. Highly recommended in the Jasper town area! So worth it.

The food was interesting. If you are a vegetarian, you have to like mushrooms if you want to eat here. We started with the caramelized onion tart and mushroom capaccio. I really liked the mushroom carpaccio, the tart was ok. For mains we ordered the elk striploin and wild mushroom loaf. Both were delicious. For dessert, we shared the double chocolate blondie… very underwhelming (and part of the reason we deducted a star.
We made reservations for a Friday evening but they were not that busy when we arrived. I was not too impressed with the table the host decided to seat us in as I felt it was

We enjoyed an amazing meal here last night. The restaurant is small and currently only has nine tables so reservations are definitely recommended (you won't be disappointed). We started off with a pre-dinner drink. I enjoyed the Quiet One cocktail and my husband tried the Hive Bomber Honey Wheat Ale (it must if been good because he bought some next door afterwards to take back to the hotel). Fora appetizer we shared the Evening Special which was a Caesar salad with Boars Bacon, it was delicious. For an Entree I had the Scallops and Linguine which was on the Evening Special and my husband had

This was my absolute favourite restaurant in Alberta when I visited. The food is amazing and the variety of meats my family had was such a great experience, just take a look at their menu. There was not one dish that was not delicious. Their salmon is the best salmon I've ever had in my life. The mushroom carpaccio was so unique, I loved it and the fact that I was able to eat carpaccio that was not fish was amazing since I am pescatarian. Their homemade Vanilla ice cream was the best I've ever had. I highly recommend trying their ice cream for dessert, I wasn't in love with the goat

We discovered the Syrahs of Jasper last summer but had already eaten. We were determined to go there if we were back in Jasper. A lovely creative and inspiring menu. So many delicious sounding dishes to choose from. We made reservations and were looking forward to our dinner. The duck, the Alberta bison rib eye, and the Bison ragout all caught our eye. We really appreciated our waiter, Cole's expert opinion and we ended up both going for the Alberta bison rib eye. We started with the delicious elk carpaccio. Melted in our mouth and served with a bit of greens and toasted bread. As someone who often

We haven't had a great dining experience like this in a long long time. We were lucky to be able to snag a last minute reservation as we found this restaurant from our walk down the street in the morning while visiting Jasper for a couple of days. Our server was really on the ball and made sure we were looked after for the entirety of our meal. We started off with the smoked bison poutine and elk carpaccio, then stayed on theme and got the bison tenderloin that was on feature and the elk striploin. The meats were so tender, not too gamey (the sauces worked wonders) and perfectly cooked. Then

Cozy place with a nice ambience, romantic feel but also can be casual.
Our server was excellent and very pleasant throughout the night.
Menu had a lot of great options and our food choices were all very tasty, especially the desserts! The server helped me choose a bottle of wine, which I was very satisfied with. After dinner drinks were great.

Came with a reservation since Covid times are tricky for a 'large' group of four people...
Very attentive service in a very relaxing ambient.
Complimentary appies were served together with A-Mazing Caesars we ordered (the taste of the bacon in the drink will remain for a long time in my memory).
All the food was good, although I would not say it justifies the price... the good news is that, without being aware of it, they had a 30% off promotion for Sundays, that we took well advantage of. After that, price was very good, but regular priced, I would say it is pricey (but fairly good

My spouse and I went to Syrahs of Jasper on Saturday, Feb 8th around 6:30pm.
We were seated in font of the bay window which got a bit cold during our dinner. But that wasn't going to stop us from enjoying our dinner.
Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered our drinks and they came out quickly. She then brought out the amuse bouche for the evening which was a red pepper lentil hummus. Incredibly delicious, light and refreshing!
We ordered the Butternut Squash fritters to start, the Alberta Beef Striploin and the Bison Steak for our entrees. Next item to our
