Annina's Bakeshop
Annina's Bakeshop & Caf located in Goodwood Ontario was opened in 2007, while branching off of it Mother company in stouffville. Annina's was opened as a family concept caf and has now become a gem in the rough as people drive to the little nestle location to enjoy fresh homemade desserts and meals, created by the Annina's family.

Leading them into their daily adventures is Chef Marco Cassano, who is the inspiration and motivation behind the Annina's family. Together the Annina's teams make an assortment for fresh baked treats and dessert, as well as country style breakfasts and filling and tasty lunches.

Recommended by my friend for it's bakery and cakes. They have a dine in upstairs while downstairs have ample choices of pastry and grocery of ingredients. They are also popular for bikers to stop by for quick bites and coffee, especially the outdoor seating area in the summertime. Today we have a hike in Uxbridge and visit the place to reward our hard work. It never disappoint with our order of Blueberry Streusel Cheescake, Mocha Nut Fudge Cake and Strawberry Rhubarb Mini Pie which are all delicious!

I had ordered a Tandoori Chicken Club sandwich and was given a plain non seasoned bland chicken sandwich. When I informed the employee I was just told sorry. No rectification of the issue. At Least offer me what I paid for. I've been telling my friends about this place but I will not do so going forward.
Edit: After speaking with another employee I was offered a credit instead of brining my sandwich back for a refund. Thank you Rachel for the great customer service!

We visited this cafe on the weekend after we finished going to the Durham forest. This cafe has nice pastries. There is a parking lot in front of the cafe. We lined up to get in. Once we made the purchase we could bring our food out and sat in the outside area. The cafe provides benches and table. The cafe seems very popular for cyclists too. I recommend you to visit this cafe if you are in the neighborhood

This place is fantastic!
We ordered lunch...a Reuben sandwich with fries and a burger and fries. Both were delicious. For dessert we got gelato which was also very good; the gelato spot is outside the bakery where the picnic tables are.
I also picked up some buttertarts...3 raisin, 1 plain, 1 peanut butter and 1 chocolate pecan. These are AMAZING! I've tasted a lot of butter tarts and these are my favourite!
I would highly recommend stopping by!

Perfect place for bikers to stop and refresh. Love their cherry strudel! Sometimes, if I am more hungry, I would get a quiche and cookies ;) everything is so delicious. It’s a great place to park your bike and enjoy your treat on the tables outside. Climbing all the rolling hills up to here is rewarding ;)

Visited on a Sunday early afternoon for a quick snack (my sister and I were doing a Schitts Creek filming locations tour, the Rose Apothecary building is just across this cafe). We had a delicious maple tart and iced coffee. Given this is a popular weekend spot, expect a queue. There's a limit of 6 people in the shop for ordering takeaway or ordering to sit outside at the picnic benches in the garden (lots of space!). You can also choose to dine inside at which point you bypass the queue and go on upstairs to the dining room.

Love their butter tart variety! Hard to pick a favorite but picked up the raisin butter tarts today. Also the black forest strudels are amazing!! Busy place thanks to Schitts Creek filming in the area but you have to try them out! Staff is friendly as well. Eat in upstairs or plenty of picnic tables outside for a picnic.

I stumbled across this place which is a big hit with the road cyclists who ride in the area. They have an ample supply of pastry choices that all look so good it's hard to make a choice. We came for lunch so ordered pizza, it was an excellent choice. Freshly made with quality ingredients we all are slower so as to enjoy it longer. With lots of great menu choices this is definitely a place requiring several visits, but if you're only just passing through you must stop here for something to eat, or just a coffee.
Also there is plenty of well spaced apart tables outside so you can sit and enjoy your

Cute little shop serving up coffee, baked goods, and some lunch fare with a small grocery section in the back. They have an outdoor seating area with park benches and umbrellas which are distanced and well shaded. Makes for a nice stop after a bike ride or hike in the area. Note that the only iced coffee drink they have is an iced Americano. They have good quality coffee and the oatmeal raisin cookies I got were nice and chewy.

Everything we had was so fresh and well made. Husband LOVED his Reuben sandwich; Greek salad was icy cold and crisp, and loaded with pitted olives. Daughter’s chicken pot pie had the flakiest crust, and my squash and pear soup wasn’t sweet and was sooooo fresh. And the BUTTERTARTS!!! Every variety was outstanding. Loved the outdoor grassy patio; definitely will be back. Grazie.

The number of cyclists that visit the bakery tell the story. Another MTB cyclist told me about it during the intro ride of the fabulous single tracks in nearby Durham forest. The bakery exceed all expectations and I can see why riders pedal a long way to re-fuel. It is located about 60 km from central Toronto in beautiful, green farmland.

I can't say enough about Annina's Bakeshop. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is fresh and delicious. The baking....scrumptious! Free refill coffee, clean comfortable and warm environment. Only change: fresh lighter paint upstairs - quite dated and dark. Could use another air conditioner on the other side of the room as well. Overall, I'd take my best friends there any time.

Usually always spot on, last night stopped and purchased a chicken and mushroom pie. Cooked til the minimum amount of time recommended. There was not a drop of moisture left. What a waste of money! It went in the garbage. After all that...no dinner.

If your looking for awesome baked goods, this is the place to go. Lunch choices here are killer as well. I used to volunteer with the railroad that runs next door, and we would ALWAYS stop in and grab a bite to eat whenever we rolled by in our little track machines. Empire cookies are to die for!
