With over 20 years of experience in the field of psychology, Dr. Garcia has provided psychological and counselling services in Ontario, and the states of Pennsylvania, and Florida. She received her education in the United States of America. She has completed various clinical internships in Psychology and Neuropsychology, including an APA approved internship at Northeast Florida State Hospital.
Eating disorders are severe illnesses that cause disturbances to someone's eating behaviours. Some eating disorders include: anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, purging disorder, avoidant/ restrictive eating, and food addiction. Eating disorder therapy helps patients develop coping mechanisms and plans to overcome their eating disorders.
Substance Abuse Counselling helps individuals who are struggling with addiction. These addictions can be to drugs, alcohol, gambling, sex, etc. Therapists will provide patients with coping strategies and methods to incorporate into their lifestyle to move towards recovery. Grief counselling is a form of therapy targeted towards helping patients overcome the feelings of sadness, anger, guilt, and regret associated with loss.
Psycho-Educational assessments can be conducted on an individual at any age. These assessments consist of an initial interview, 4-6 hours of testing, a comprehensive report completion by the assessor, and a conclusive interview with the individual and/or their family. After the final comprehensive report has been created, a copy will be provided for the individual's parents and school so that an Individual Education Plan can be created.

Diana Garcia Works for the insurance companies. Don't trust her since she most likely gets backend dollars to give false reports to benefit herself. Will never use on a personal level based off the experience several years ago. The insurance companies pay her well for her reports that benefit them in trial.

Dr. Garcia assessed our daughter for ADHD. Very professional, explained the process well, no hidden fees, no surprises. Final report was well documented with recommendations. Her staff, namely Brenda was very warm and welcoming too. Our daughter really enjoyed the assessment process. I had already recommended Dr. Garcia to friends.
