Poor communication.
Very slow response.
Very unprofessional behaviour.
I had bad experience with this company.
They tried trick me that my earning can’t be included in the mortgage… In result I lost chance for the share ownership property.
The “Gentleman” also wasn’t nice

Extremely frustrating company. Because of their very slow responses & poor communication it has cost us to lose out on our dream home. We sent off 2 documents which were required to reserve a property a few days after it being put on the market which were uploaded to the Metro customer portal. This took over a week to check when the sign off is supposed to be 5 days, when submitted they asked for a further document which was sent the very next day but a further few day delay in metro responding has caused the property to be offered to someone else.

We used metro finance as first time buyers to make the process more easy and smooth. This was not the case at all, metro were great until you pay the fee to them! which is when they submit your application - it all went downhill from there. After they had your money.
There were multiple errors on the applications submitted documents, when queried we were told ‘they won’t check that in detail so its ok’ .
It was absolutely impossible to get hold of anyone, the process took months and months and this was not due to Covid. It was This was due to incompetence and laziness, and lack of attention

(Reccomend matthew) Recommended by the estate agents. A few bumps in the process due to covid and staff working from home. Only downside is company needs to improve on communication not the most responsive. From application to mortgage offer was 4 weeks very efficient. Highly recommend matthew hodgson very helpful,friendly and efficient did his absolute damn hardest to get us on the property ladder we would not own a property if it wasnt for his hard work and commitment to getting us a mortgage

I Had been trying to get a mortgage for shared ownership and with my chequered past credit history I was finding it difficult ... Metro finance was only too happy to help. I found the specially trained and qualified advisers excellent and very easy to speak with and only too happy to help with any queries..
My mortgage was dealt with by Laura and Josh who both went above and beyond the call of duty to get me a mortgage and make sure everything went smoothly...
I am now looking forward to moving into my new home very shortly and wanted to make sure I wrote this review for anyone who has to find

Great to begin with. Super fast and efficient and seem to know what they are talking about. Sam mortgage advisor was really clued up. At first; the idea of handing over £399 for a middle man was a defo no-no....( as I could do the work myself for free ...or just contact my local bank easily) - however because I was impressed with Sam and the deal he found for me I paid the 399 fee. This was sadly when everything seemed to slow right down. Calls took longer to be returned. Processing of paperwork took a longer time. Emails slower to respond to. I was sadly dissapointed at the overall processing

Couldn't recommend them highly enough. The service we received from Holly and Catherine was above and beyond what is expected. The supportive, patient, knowledgable and friendly approach make me so feel so pleased that I chose to use them. They made the process simple and always made it feel that it was okay to ask for help, especially when elements of the mortgage process were baffling as a first time buyer! Whilst I always expect helpful and supportive service from a company that I am buying a service from, this was more than just the service you expect, I think Metro Finance were a great find
