We specialize in hands on, manual Physiotherapy, specifically spinal manipulation, Active Release Therapy, Graston Technique, and Acupuncture. Our clinic is one of the only Physiotherapy Centres to utilize these techniques, in a single location.
PT, is a Registered Physiotherapist with over 11 years of clinical experience in the field of orthopedics. He graduated in 2006 with his Bachelors in Kinesiology from Brock University, and attained his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2008. David believes that the key to providing quality care is by continually updating skills through ongoing education.
Physiotherapists are experts in mobility and function. At Zero Gravity Physiotherapy, our team has a special focus on orthopedics and conditions related to the musculoskeletal system. Our lead Physiotherapist, David Cuviello, MSc. PT, is specifically trained to manually assess all joints and soft tissues, and uses hands-on therapy with a focus on gradual exercise programs that allow the patient to Get Well, and Stay Well.
Medical acupuncture is the application of very fine, sterile needles to specific points in the body with the goal of reducing pain, swelling, and improving movement patterns or function. Other benefits from medical acupuncture include : improved blood flow, stress reduction, and improved nerve conduction.
We are excited to announce that David Cuviello, PT, is now offering effective one-on-one treatment for vestibular disorders including, BPPV, nystagmus, vertigo, and balance disturbances. Vestibular rehabilitation is provided by David Cuviello, PT who has advanced training in vestibular rehabilitation and utilizes Frenzel Lens Technology to record tiny eye movements during treatment.
