Ontario Green House Producers Marketing Board
Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers (OGVG) is a not-for-profit organization, formed in 1967, representing approximately 220 members who grow greenhouse tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers on over 3000 acres in Ontario, Canada. Our growers span from Windsor to Niagara and as far north as Ottawa. OGVG is regulated under the Farm Products Marketing Act (FPMA).

Under Regulation 417 of this Act, OGVG is responsible for licensing all growers, packers and marketers of Ontario greenhouse tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers. As a member-based organization, a Board of Directors and committees have been put in place to aid in the decision making process and to ensure the standards of the sector.
Services
OGVG growers utilize the latest advances in hydroponic technology, computerized climate control and integrated pest management in order to ensure that the vegetables you eat are safe, fresh and nutritious. The controlled greenhouse environment enables producers to grow a uniform crop that minimizes waste and maximizes yield and quality.
Starting with the Ontario greenhouse farmer. Using the controlled environment, they grow the highest quality tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers. When it's time to harvest, skilled workers cruise the rows, picking and packing the pristine vegetables. Truck drivers then deliver the produce across the province and beyond.
