During an eye examination, the optometrist will give you a new prescription so you can keep your eyewear updated. The optometrist will look for any signs or symptoms of eye conditions that, when left untreated, could lead to serious health or vision problems in the future.

Progressive lenses are like trifocals (the lens has distance, intermediate/computer, and reading power), but without the defining lines separating the powers.

It's part and parcel of the Victoria Dr made me wait 45 minutes meaning he was 35 minutes behind with his appointments didn't seem to be something he wanted to bring up, but when I mentioned it, he was all casual about it anywhere outside of Victoria, like Vancouver people with leave/people would complain. I think its ridiculous to have to have the customer bring it up and even more ridiculous that he thinks it's no big deal; lots of places to buy glasses and you don't have to wait two weeks to see this massively immature dr.

I went with my sister to buy prescription glasses, and I must say that their service was absolutely marvelous! From fitting the lenses to the wonderful degree of patience, I would say that the staff at Fairfield Optical are extremely well trained and professional in their job. The boss is a really sweet person and thus we were offered many choices for the quality, frames, and designs of glasses. Needless to say, my sister was very happy with her purchase.
