Absolutely fantastic hotel and that is simply down to the lovely staff (from reception, to bar and door staff). Conor the bar man and also the bar manager (a lady) were very accommodating, couldn't have done enough for the 17 of us. Area reserved for New Year's Eve. Rooms were fantastic, food was fantastic, New Years entertainment fabulous.

Great place to eat and drink. They have a good menu and a good offer of drinks and cocktails, the interior is beautiful, spacious, one of the nicer pubs I’ve been to The martini I received was yellowish in color and was supposed to be reddish and on top was dried lime and it was supposed to be dried passion fruit.

We have stayed a number of time in the Prince of Wales. The service is excellent from the word go. Aishling who worked on reception and is now a manager is very welcoming and accommodating. She has a smile from the word go and goes out of her way to help.
in all my travels I have never came across a more welcoming and professional girl.
I look forward to many more stays with another one booked for next week.

Security man needs to Chill
I came to the Prince of wales this morning for food with my friend and the beginning experience actually ruined my day. The grey haired security man first asked me for my cert which I gave and then a form of ID which was fair and I had to trek back to the car to get as I thought it was mandatory. He was being quite arrogant and condescending as we are both in our early 20’s, my friend also then wasn’t asked for his ID ???!?. It’s nice to be nice.

Stayed in the Price of Wales Hotel for one night on Saturday 2 October with a friend in a twin room. Great location – right in the centre of the town. Staff were so friendly, helpful, warm and welcoming from even before I arrived with any questions I had. Fantastic staff. Would stay here again. Thanks to all the great staff.

Beautiful hotel. Food was great and so well presented. All staff were very pleasent and more than attentive which is good in these times when you can't go to the counter for service. My only complaint is that the place was so cold. I don't know if it was air conditioning (middle of October ) or not, but we asked to be moved to another table in another area and it was still breezy. Apart from that we had a pleasant experience.
