These Chris and the boys rule! Work fast and don't have to worry about a thing. I got quoted 10k in repairs from a dealership and they went through it again and quoted it to be actually a fraction of that. Even after the original quote they saved me almost a grand on the work after the fact. The boys do quality work and aren't taking no body for a run around on price. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

I received a call from Helen ( the managing person on behalf the owners) regarding to my negative google feedback. she was really professional person. She apologized for the miscommunication between me and the new person that they hired. She assured me that in the near future they will change the system so that the ShopSupplies feed will be included in the cost of the repair , not after,
e.g.
cost of repair + tax = total
not
cost of repair + tax + shop supplies = total

Also, she told me you pay only what you have been quoted over the phone, anything else will be refunded back to me to credit card.

To be honest, when i did my original review. I was not expecting someone to call me back and apologize. But Auto Place did phone back and apologize and offered me a refund.

Very professional company, and i am sure i will go back to them again.

While my family and I have dealt with them so many years, and I like their work.
I don’t like their hidden fees system, the charge me for something called “shop supplies” in top of charging for labour .
When I phoned them the quoted me 880 plus tax. But when I went there they charged me 880 + tax + shop supplies(50$). I asked them what is that, they told me it’s for using our tools(e.g Ratchet) to fix your van.
I felt offended because this is not standard and they didn’t mentioned that earlier.
I hope they stop doing that , customers feel offended from hidden fees

I made a winter tire change appointment with them but when I came in to have it done, they claimed I hadn’t made an appointment with them. Guy behind the counter had a lot of attitude about it too.

Really great, kind and honest service. Was really nice that I could call in day of to book an appointment for the same day!

Critical: Professionalism
Was walking by one day and saw some bigger looking technician there lifting and lowering a truck on a hoist in quick succession? not sure what he was trying to do but no one stopped him. Not very professional if you ask me.

We had a terrible experience at one of the dealerships, so we started bringing our car here and each and every time, they're professional and honest and they go above and beyond. On one occasion, they squeezed us in, even though we hadn't made an appointment. Can't say enough how appreciative we are!

Truck was making a squealing noise, it was embarrassing and disconcerting . They got me in same day, replaced serpentine belt and tensioner and within 3 hours I was able to pick it up. No fleecing or attempt to impart fear about other aspects of vehicle. I left feeling like I received great value and dealt with men who had integrity and enjoy their work.

So grateful we found Ron and the team at Autoplace! What an amazing experience from start to finish. Very patient, professional and clear about what was wrong and how to fix it. The mechanics at this shop have helped me out of many a tough situation. They're helpful, attentive and great with customer service. The service for my vehicle was both reasonable in cost and quicker than I would expect.

A few months back I had my brakes and rotors replaced for less than $800. In terms of pricing, Autoplace is the most reliable and affordable car repair shop in Kelowna. Every other estimate I had received was over $1,200! All of the workers were incredibly helpful and time efficient.

Just a couple of days ago, one of my headlights went out. I purchased the bulb and attempted to put it in myself, but had no luck. Once 5 pm hit, I knew I had close to no chance of getting my headlight fixed before commuting to work early in the morning. With the 30 minutes I had, I drove over to Autoplace and asked

Easter long weekend I was up in Kelowna visiting with family and on the Sunday, after taking my grandma to church, my check engine light came on. Me, being me, I started to panic a little as I had to drive back down to the lower mainland so I could go to work the next day.
