The Chalk It Up Signs Mission Statement is to help you attract and build your target audience using our one of a kind, eye-catching chalkboard signs and menus. Our chalkboards are ethically created using fair, living wages for our local professional designers, illustrators and framers and we use locally sourced materials when possible for a holistic approach to creating every Chalk It Up Signs chalkboard.

We love hand crafting and custom designing chalkboards that depict each couple's unique personalities, life goals and special memories.
Printed chalkboards are a great option for multiple orders or when you have a very specific design needs. If the design is ready, it can be a quicker option than hand drawing. Printing is helpful for quantity, or when the size of the text gets smaller that 3/4 high. It is also a good option if you have a finished design.
All our frames are hand made for each chalkboard. Our in-house framer uses 2.25" or 1.5" x 3/4" vertical grain west coast fir in a mortise and tenon joining for a strong, clean, commercial quality frame. We only use waterproof glues. The sign is inserted into a 3/8 groove cut into the frame to add stiffness and durability.
