Dr Traynor graduated from the Optometry program at Caledonia University Glasgow Scotland in 1982. His first experience of clinical practice was working with a group of surgical specialists at Bangour Hospital in Scotland and as an associate at established group of optometrists in Edinburgh. After little more than 1 year he opened his first practice in the east end of Glasgow.
Combining 30 years of experience with up to date diagnostic equipment we will evaluate all aspects of your vision and recommend the best treatment option or refer when necessary. Dr Traynor is a registered Assistive Devices authorizer and vendor. We have extensive experience providing solutions to patients of all ages who have experienced vision loss as a result of congenital disorders or disease.
We take great care in determining the accuracy of your prescription. It is equally important to ensure the correct lens and coating combination is used to optimize the performance of your eyewear. Working with all of the leading lens manufacturers, we can advise you on the best choice for your visual demands.
